I have twice received the same call from this number indicating that money is due to me from Microsoft. Oddly, while typing this message, I just received another scam call but with no identification as to the phone number or the name of the caller. This whole scam call business is getting completely ridiculous!!
This is obviously a phishing scam. The recording claimed to be from Microsoft, and offering to refund money due to the company closing. Right. Who will issue the check, Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy?
Caller left a message claiming the cost technical service we purchased would have to be refunded due to the closing of the company. As we have not purchased any such service, this call appears to really be a phishing scam.
