I think this is a scam, my cpu froze and this number was left. They identified as Microsoft Tech support. I almost believed them, but I questioned them intensely and they seemed legit, but I think they are a scam. I overrode the attempt to control my cpu. which they claim will destroy it..no. they are a clever scam.
