Order on hold because they think charges are fraudulent

Msg says they identified a fraud Amazon order and to call them at this number. Since I’d placed an order an hour ago, I swallowed the bait and tried to return call but got a busy signal.

Reported I had a fraudulent charge.

A purchase of $1099 was made on Amazon account by a caller from ****a and they are holding it up for now and want a call back. Really poor quality voice - allot of static - sounded like a scam. No problems seen with account.

The message was cut off at the beginning. Only heard her say, "If you identify this as a fraud order, then call this number to speak to our fraud prevention officer" I will not be calling them back since I'm fairly certain it is a spam call.

Automated message when I picked indicating "someone from ****a has made a purchase on your Amazon account" and indicated some amount over $1000.00. I checked my accounts and all is fine. They wanted a call back.

Received several emails saying"the order for bitcoin Exc****e is received. It has been delivered late for the following cir***stance.Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank You!" "Your order at Apple Inc. (357321) 1 $799.98

Received by email. Wanted me to call 888-614-7789 Dear Customer, We've got your order. Your world is about to get a whole lot easier. Your order will be delivered soon. Thank you! Item Description Description Bitcoin Exc****e Quan***y x 1 Total amount $479.95

I got an email from this person claiming they are PayPal and my purchase of $499 in bitcoin will be processed soon. He listed this phone number (888) 614-7789 to call if there is a problem. He sent the email from [email protected]

An email says I bought $499 in bitcoin via my PayPal account. It listed this number if there was any problems.

This is a scam! The guy says he is from PayPal and he wanted access to my computer at that point I told him that wasn't going to happen and that he is a scam.
