I received text message , pretending to be from my bank. Asking for correct expiration date. Fraud call.
Chances are this is due to hacking for anyone wondering on how they get this info. They don't have certain info. Just the card number may not even be the full numbers. Just the last 4 digest. But they could have your name and address. Apps like Park mobile or insurance data card used for that. Other sites you used cards. I've had my card c****ed 3 times. In a months time frame. For they had access to BOA. Nothing is safe.
Text States BofA Security: Debit card ending in 0642 was declined. Enter the correct expiration date OR call 888-624-2323 to activate your card. Text STOP to end texts. Yet bank app and no real physical be Call was made by BOA. No warnings to back up claim either. Which it should Leave a voicemail. This is a scam!
