I receive dthe call on Firday , I try calling back on Sa****ay. The number doesn't even work. It won't even ring after being dile. Major scam red flag.
This is message I got, Verbatim:"Hi, my name is Amber calling from the National Claim Center in regards to an entry form you filled out to win a 2011 Ford SUV Hybrid Truck in one of our shopping malls, movie theatres, or online within the last 12 months. I have some very good news for you; your name was pulled last night, so give me a call back as soon as possible. My numbers is 888-648-2798 that number a***n is 888-648-2798 and that is Amber at ext 221"Stay away from these scammers.
Exact same message from Amber, Ext:221, about Ford SUV Hybrid. I hope there is an organization that deals with scammers like these and take legal action.
I received the same message today on my answering ma****e saying I entered a drawing at a mall movie theater or online within the past 12 months and my name was picked last night to win a Ford SUV Hybrid and to call AMBER back at ext 221!!! BS!!! Yeah, right...if it's too good to be true, then it is! DELETED MESSAGE!!!
I also got a recorded call from "Amber" ... and out of curiosity called the 888-648-2798 number. The place said it was the National Claim Center -- and that I was guaranteed, yes guaranteed! to win an SUV hybrid, a getaway vacation with first-class airfare, $2,500, or a 32" flat screen TV. Frank -- Amber is his secretary, he said -- wanted to sign me up for a presentation at a Holiday Inn in Washington D.C. by the group supposedly sponsoring the drawing -- Paradise, a travel company. Of course I didn't -- and then called him back and told him I reported him to the FTC.A
Just got a call from the same person, Cynthia. Happened 4/6 at 10:00 AM. Your message was identical to mine, so yeah. Scam!
Received the same voice mail from Amber at the National Claim Center stating that I had won a Ford Hybrid. 100% scam, any way you look at it.
same old b.s. amber ext221. ford SUV
Same number same Amber same Ford Hybrid. I also wish that being on the do not call list worked. My kids were really excited by the message.
Ditto Ditto Ditto. ("Ford Hybrid", "Amber", "extension 221")This smells so stinky. I wish the Do Not Call list actually could stop these ****s.
Received a message last night saying I entered a draeing at a mall movie theater or online and I won a Ford SUV Hybrid and to call AMBER back at ext 221....Yeah right - I called from a phone at work just to see what the scam was about. When I asked for Amber, they said she was ******* in meetings all day. You could hear all the hub bub in the background with telemarketers calling other innocent people. I ***g up before I could find out what it was all about.
Received voice mail from Amber at the National Claim Center (which I couldn't find via Google) with the same line about winning a car - this time a Ford Hybrid. The message was taped & I was never addressed by name. Funny thing is, I did enter a raffle for a hybrid many months ago. Unfortunately, this feels like a scam...
I get calls frequently from that number and never pickup.
Wait! You mean I'm not a winner?!?!? jk I did not pick up the call. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. This is why...
Megan from "National Redeement Center" called telling me that I entered a drawing at "one of our shopping malls, movie theaters, or online in the last year (how specific) for a 2011 Lincoln Navigator and that my name was pulled last night! B.S.
Left a message about how I won, a guess what, new lincoln navigator! Funny that they didnt even know my name in the message they left...you think these scammers would at least try to be a little creative, typed in lincoln scam and all the returns are about these same people!
scam, I call them back and blocked my number. they asked for a lot of personal information trying to build a profile.
Rings my phone. Ignored.
Received voice mail stating that my name was drawn last night in a contest to win a free lincoln navigator and to call Megan back for details about 'Good News'. Never said I actually one. Deleted voice mail.
