threatened legal action if I wasn’t home to be served at a time they never said

wanted to serve papers 2nd attempt, gave case number, knew name, had blocked number, gave the number to call "law firm" said case would continue anyway. this call would be completely illegal leaving messages like they left. a legit lawyer wouldn't break the law. I would****ume by the reports i is to get people scared and pay them for debts they don't have. i don't have any unpaid debts.

They called and said I was being served for a bad debt w/ citi bank. I called citi bank and they had no record of me only a current home depot credit card. they wanted me to pay them for a bill form 2012. My credit report is clean. I'm going to pursue these guys somehow as they called me and my relatives. Not cool.

Had a do***ent server call first with blocked number- She gave me this number to call, Said they were a law firm, but not professional at all and don't believe they are who they say they. Telling me I am being sued for an over 10yr. old debt I was not aware of, nor have received anything about.

They wanted to verify availability to be served papers for some case. When I called this number it was answered as a law office. Not sure it was real. I am not the person they were looking for so they would not give me any information.

Called my work and said they had a case # for a subpoena I returned the call to the number left and was put on hold for a long time no one ever came to the phone.
