Calls and never leaves a message, I never call back because then they'll think they have the right number. If you ignore it every time they never be sure of they had the right number or not.

FROM AN OLD CREDIT CARD DEBT THAT IS 18 YEARS OLD. HE HAD THAT CUT OFF IN 1993. THEY WANTED ME TO FAX INFORMATION TO THEM. I TOLD THEM I DONT KNOW YOU AND I WILL NOT FAX ANYTHING TO YOU! THEY SAID THIS COULD MESS UP OUR CREDIT! IT HAS BEEN 18 YEARS. I TOLD THEM THERE IS A STAUTE OF LIMITATIONS AND FOR THEM NOT TO CALL A***N. WE DONT OWE ANYONE ANYTHING. AND I ***G UP

888-799-8009 has called repeatedly costing me many dollars. No one answers or leaves a message. I called their number and the man said that he was a collection agency. He wouldn't say more than that. I set up Do Not Call on my cell phone. Hopefully that will stop it.

These "s***s" call and when you answer they **** up. These people are paid by how many calls they actually call per day and are allowed a certain number of people they actually have phone contact with. Since your phone number is on a computer that dials every few hours I HAVE found out that if you answer and then **** up that knocks your number back out of their system and they have to go to the trouble of physically feeding your number back into the computer. Answer and then **** up and that creates more work for them. Generally if you answer they are so surprised that they do no know who answered or what it is about. When you answer half the time it catches them off guard and they have to quickly look up your information and they are unaware of who you are and what they are talking about. These people are so ****** that if you have time you could have a little fun out of their game it backfires in their face. They are so lazy that they get paid to just sit there and wait for numbers to electronically dial and get paid for doing nothing!! One of these people was in their bathroom when I answered and when I answered that knocked them completely off balance and they had no idea of what they were doing. SO catch them at their game and play it back to them. Generally THEY ALL ASK who this is and I tell them they called me, I did not call them and if they don't know who they called why are they calling.

Caller leaves a message that you can't understand and when I attempt to call back I get a recorded message requesting that I leave a message.

NO MESSAGES. JUST KEEP RINGING THE PHONE.

A Jennifer Brown called and said that there was a debt of $640.63 on a credit card. But, would settle for $300.00. We asked several times why would they settle for only $300.00 if the debt was for $640.63. No answer was given. Jennifer Brown did not verify any information. We asked them not to call & they call every other day.

I have answered the phone!*****o,*****o, no reply.  I got tired of it and answered*****o and told the party on the other side it was there turn, no answer.  I stopped picking the phone up.  No frustration there except for the company calling.  This s****s at seven in the morning and continues to eight at night.  The set up is they only let the phone ring once now.  Someone is counting and logging in time spent on the phone.So****ing new today at eleven AM “If this is not the phone number for (first and last name) call this number.  WOW just images someone who will not answer wants me to call them!Not going to happen.  Everyone knows who they are.  The computer system is very sophisticated,Earn an honest living.  I have called Consumer affairs.  The question I got there was do you know this person – well yes I do – my question to them was do you know how old this person is?EARN A HONEST LIVING

They are required to forward proof of the bill.  You can even flip it and sue them for $1,000 just write the *****s.  If your states statue of limitations have run out go for it.  NCO is just one of the companies the re-aged debts.  Check your credit report for re-aging of your debts.  They did that to me!

Please call your phone company and block their calls.  My 87 mother had this and just short of me jumping throught he phone..so do this.  No one that is elderly needs this.  Good Luck!

I have been getting about two calls a day from them this week. I answered the first two times and ***ody would ever respond to me, also leaving no voice mail, leading me to believe it was a prank call, not recognizing 888 as toll free. I called the number back today, twice and repeatedly got "Amanda," a customer representative. Most previous comments say they are a debt collector's company, but I am a sop****re, in high school, and I have never owed any debt. I have recieved six calls from them since Monday.

If a so called collector tells you he/she cannot give you on paper what and who you owe, then more than likely it's a scam to get your money. Collection Agencies are required by law to furnish any proof you owe a debt. I almost got scammed like this and I filed a complaint with the authorities.WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO.

This party calls at all times of day and i never answer phone and ask for a party I don't know just for me to answer it.

Received many calls from this number.  When I called back I was informed that this number belongs to a law firm.  I was told that they are attempting to collect on a debt from 2006.  When I asked if they could send do***entation to support their claims, as I did not recognize it, they were very rude and stated that they had no do***entation that they could send me.  This seems very su****ious.

I am unknown who this number belongs to and thay never leave a message so I never call back. I recently have a stalker wat****g me and wanna make sure this number never call me a***n.

They are now leaving message's threatening arrest and job termination.  I have done a complaint with the FTC.  Kelly Jones is calling me and leaving the number 714-******00 to call her back.  The one time I spoke with an agent he refused to tell me who I supposedly owed my debt to and got incredibly angry with me for even asking.  Call ended with him ****ing up on me.  The scary part is they have all of my personal information which is conveniently the same info provided when trying to get payday loans, which I have paid off and moved on!  I am doing my research and trying to stop this scam for myself!

I have recently obtained this number as a fax number and they call daily about the previous owner of it. Very annoying!

Calls numerous times a day and leaves no message but lets it ring twenty or more times, well I have news flash for them if someone doesn't answer before fifth ring they won't! Maybe they are so poor at their jobs they don't realize in business time is money! Pitty a company has to hire such ****** workers in this economy. This is Tate and somthing a debt collector. I added call block service to my phone service and have blocked the number - they will not get thru a***n. The call block service really works - your phone won't ring and the caller will get a recorded message that their number is blocked. That's one way to stop them!

It is illegal to state (live or recorded) that it is an attempt to collect a debt unless the caller (collector) confirms they are speaking directly to the intended person (the debtor)

I had several calls yes****ay 11/11/09 and they have escalated today 11/12/09 to at least three. They are coming in as a fax call, but since I don't answer the fax ring, I don't know if they are talking or not. The call does not print out as fax, tho. I'm am very annoyed since I have a new 3 in 1 ma****e and have been testing it the few days and, have spent hours trying to figure out why these fax calls are not printing. Please how can a person stop this invasion?

i get up to eight calls a day from these people from a bill collector who i paid a long time ago i've asked to be placed on the do not call list they tranfered me to another number and the call suddenly dropped i called back and gave them the number they called me on and after i spoke with someone someone called me back at work asking me what i wanted

This debt collector calls at least once a day asking to speak to people that I have never known and have never lived at this address. The phone number they call has been listed in my name for several years. They say they are taking me off their list, but then they call the next day asking for another name. I have filed a complaint with the do not call registry but have not heard back yet.

This is a collection agency. Tate & Kirlin.  They sometimes call with their name in caller ID as 'Tate & Kirlin'.  Other times it is "not provided".

They call and I answer the phone and no one says anything, then I called the number back today and the guy said he needed my name to remove me from there calling list, I worked in telemarketing and I know this is not true when a customer requests to be put on a calling list it is done whether or not info is verified or not.

I've received 7 calls from this number in the last month alone.  I do not answer, but if others have confirmed that this is Tate & Kirlin, I know they are a debt collection law firm in Pennsylvania.  I've also received written correspondence from them regarding an alleged bad debt from some company I don't recognize.  The calls have stopped since sending them a debt verification letter with a request not to call me. (They have not been able to verify the debt.)They MAY be a legitimate collection agency, but chances are the debt they're trying to collect isn't.  Check your credit report for activity by them and any unusual listings or claims.  I think these guys prey on the credit reports of people with not-so-stellar credit and claim that you owe them money.Other number they've called from:  215-464-4500

Every other day I get a message on my answering ma****e looking for Jerry Stosas. A couple of times on Sa****ay mornings it called and I hit the numbers indicating that the person is not at this number but it still calls. Will the phone company block this number for me?

i keep getting a call from a man with an East Indian accent saying he was looking to speak to me. when my brother picked up the phone, the guy demanded my cell phone number, which is a business line. he was very rude to myself, my brother, my family who picks up whrn i'm not home. The best part is this guy's names have been richard, derek, shawn, and (my favorite) seamus. After calling 7 times in a 20 minutes span, we threatened to call a lawyer on him, cause it is harrassment whether a person owes them a card payment ,or not.

My 94-year old mother is receiving these calls four and five times a day.  She doesn't understand that it's not rude to merely **** up, and she's now frightened to answer her phone!!  Is there any way at all to stop them?  We have spoken to someone there who promised to have her name removed, but that hasn't happened.
