Leave a CommentI received the same. It is spam. I called Patriot Mortgage which is a local mortgage company that doesn't solicit and is not located in NYC. If you have AT&T here is a link that may be helpful. Text message sent to my phone on 5/17/2011 from****-515-7586 stated that this was from Patriot Mortgage Lender and said to call 888-834-7565.
May 14 at 2:16 pm ET in northeast USA. Received text from****-515-7586, about "you're approved for mortgage...". Return phone number to call was 888-834-7565, "code S1689".
