Leave a CommentWanted me to settle a debt that I took out with my husband ( really ex husband of 7 years)in a check cash place. Gave me a last name that wasn't mine and completely different ss#
They called claiming to be a law firm trying to get us to settle an old debit that we thought we had already settled. I called the number back but no company name is mentioned and they did not answer. Just wanted me to leave a message with a case number from a legal notice they say they sent me but never did. They had all of my husbands info, birthday, last 4 of SS#, address, phone number, full name, its really scary how much info they have, it seemed like a real thing but I can not find any information****ociated with this phone number and they would not give me the company name so it feels more and more like a scam! I would NOT give them any money!
