Leave a Commenti'm definitely not saying everything they do is right, but all you people looking to get of paying, well aren't you all a bunch of tru s*** bags? no offense. i mean you took a loan out with the original compayn... didn't pay them back... and now are trying to find more ways not to pay? i honestly had a hardship and could not pay cashnet back, but i made a few payments to this company and the sent me a settled in full letter to my email and my address. all i had to do was talk to them and pay back the money i owed? is that really that hard?
Obviously the people who are sticking up for this company, also work for them. They are a bunch of money ***gry losers who are trying to collect on zombie debt. Don't answer the calls, don't believe their threats and NEVER send them money! Ever. They are a bunch of clowns and they use hardball tactics to get people to pay debts that they aren't legally obligated to pay anymore (passed the statute of limitations). Check your state and see what the statute of limitations for collections are. It's from the time you are first delinquent - say March 2003, if they haven't collected on it by March 2009 (depending on your states laws) it is considered passed the statute of limitations and if they try to take you to court - inform the judge that they are passed the statute of limitations and they will drop the case. Educated yourself and don't let anyone try to intimidate you.
Tell them that since they have caused you massive financial hardship, all you can afford to pay them now is $1 per week... then stick to it. Pay them NO MORE than $1 per week. DO NOT agree to pay any more and do not let them threaten you with any for of intimidation. They have NO power over you.
They kept calling my place of employment non-stop and threatening me constantly now I have agreed to pay the balance of $615.00 in payments although I paid the other day $415 dollars in which they gave me and told me verbally that I can pay the remaining balance by the end of March and now they called me and said they are taking the money out of my account tomorrow morning in which I told him not to do that until I call him back and tell him too, but I also said I need to wait couple more weeks to pay it. It s****ed with me saying okay I can pay $200 then he said $300 I said that is pushing it but I said okay that's fine then by harassing me and making threats he pushed the limit to $415 and now I my account is drained out. I don't know what to do about them taking the other $202 out of my account because they don't seem to understand anything. I am extremely worried anyone have any advice?
they r not empty threats, they statethat they will mark ur case as refuse to pay and then turn it over to cashnet and cash net will then sue and persue you for not only the debt but much more. that is y they are billionaires today. this forum is just putting more and more money in the pockets of cashnet and they love it, they love when you **** up on a collector who is trying to****ist u. the is a statement from one of the clients of cdr, pay the loan and it helps, these people helped me tremendously! They worked with me and gave me a payment option. The company I originally borrowed money from was a nightmare. They destroyed my credit and my bank account had to be closed. Thank you CDR and Mr.SeegerThomas Klaum
Leslie u make a valid point yet u are sadly mistaken, if u listen to the wording used by the collector who contacted you they will state that cashnet will persue and not cdr, cdr is just the middle that tells the loan company that u refuse to pay and then the company u took the loan out with will persue you. and they have not broken the law by calling your work. you listed your number on a legal do***ent and also your work number and place of business. in turn signing over the right to deny phone calls to those numbers. its not called a reference number for no reason. by listing that number u gave cdr full rights to contact that number. on the legal do***ent u signed electrnicaly it clearly states that if they r unable to contact your personal number they may leave messages and or contact the other numbers listed in order to get in contact with u...you gave them the number and gave them the rights to call it. also it is limited to 1 call per number per day unless contacted by the individual. so i****ure no law has been broken
I received a call from them. Send a certified letter cease and desist letter you can find an example on www.budhibbs.com. Will cost about $4.00, they have to stop. Ask them for their address, they must give it to you by law. Do not send them any money.
They are calling me every 30 minutes with threats. They say it is fraud to not pay all monies due on a payday loan. I spoke with a attorney and he said it is like any other debt. You made a promise note and because of your income, could not pay all of it back. They told me"we have info on your checking acct and will use it) not sure what ? Anyway there are legal things these high pressure collection companies must follow. One of them is no threats!!!
IF Yoou Get A Phone Call By Them DONT GIVE THEM ANYTHING if they repeatedly call you SUE . Easy.
I receive calls from this number daily on my cell and at work. They tell me I need to contact them or my legal representative does. I talk to a Mrs. Milan the other day and ask for their address where I could have my attorney send them paperwork on this situation and she ask why my attorney needed the address. I ask if they where going to try and sue my and she c****ed her tune real fast. Said she was not an attorney and would just say I refused to pay the debt. I didn't refuse, just wanted more information. I also sent a money order to CREDX Recovery in North Tona***a, NY but she said that I did wrong. I will have no longer anything to do with them until I get so****ing in writing from them in a legitmate form.
ive been dealing with them on a regular basis now....ive c****ed home numbers once allready....they repeatedly call me at work....and they have s****ed calling my friends number....will s**** process next week to sue them as they picked the wrong person to mess with
This companies name is CDR Credit Debt and Recovery. They have called me from an unpaid pay day loan I have. They lied saying that I will be sued by this office and that I can speak with the attorney. After paying them 1500 dollars and them still asking for more I decided to s**** asking questions. A guy named Peter Sumpter has told me repeatedly he is a lawyer and now recanted saying he is only an****istant. Now they are saying they do not sue, that another company does. Be careful they have broken the law by continuing to call my work even after I have told them to stop. I will finish paying the remaining amount they are asking for but I will forward all do***entation to a firm to stop these guys. Make sure you ask questions and know your rights.
I received a rather demanding and threatening phone call a few minutes ago. ***ody at this number has any unresolved issues that I am aware of.
