I received a call from John ***** at work telling me he was and officier with the Financial Crime Division. He had me fax a sheet with no letter head making a payment arrangement of $300.00. I only made one as the real company called me and I got involved with their fraud department. I have asked John ***** _ indian accent to give me proof for this loan. he told me he cannot do that. He threatened me with ruining my credit, putting me in jail, having me arrested. He claimed I owe for an Internet Pay Day load from November 25, 2008. No one would wait this long to collect if I had gotten the money to begin with. I called him a***n told him I had spoken to my company and the police and he said he would fax me an invoice. I went to get it and their was no fax. I have also called the processing company that runs the charges through for this company. They were unable to help me as they only process payments for companies. They had a copy of my fax authorising them to run the payment from my card. I had given them a Walmart Vis Card fortunately so no hard to my bank account. Any collector who cannot tell you what company they represent or give you proof ot the loan is not legitimate.
A guy named Jack Austin(with and indian accent) called and harrased a friend by telling her that she was going to be put in jail for money that someone else borrowed. He said he was from the financial crimes division. I am a legitimate debt collector and when I asked the basic questions I got 4 different names and 2 different company names and then this guy said he worked for a law firm but could not tell me the name. I calmy ***g up the phone and told her to not worry at all. These guys are DUMB so if you ask the right questions they will leave you alone and whatever you do DO NOT give them any information.
This is a big scam. They try to use gestapo tactics into having you give them your promise of payment of a debt that does not exist. I called the company whom they said I had the debt with and low and behold I do not have any debt with said company. The company is going to find out why they are using their name to falsify U.S. Court cases. Also when I asked what county and state the judicial proceedings were out of they told me that is none of my business. That right there is a***nst the law. Don't suc***b to another hoax to make you part with your hard earned money. I could not really understand the man due to a heavy eastern accent so the name of th ecompany is as beast as i can figure out from the voicemail.
