Scam threat. Make it sound like they are going to file legal charges. Voice sounded like "Apu" from the Simpsons. But very common english sounding name. It is a scam based on the fact that some where at some time a person may have filed on line for a pay day loan. That data gets sold everywhere.

I received a call today from this  Jack Wilson. He read me all my info like my ssn, d.o.b, and driver's license number. Then told me that I owed on some payday loan. I told him that I didn't know what he was talking about. Then he had the nerve to get an at***ude and get real nasty with me and I went off on him. He was like he would only send me the information if I paid or he would send the police to  get me. I told him to do what the***** he needed to do because I wasn't paying anything. He got mad and was like fine I will and I said you do that and as long as I owe you, you'll never go broke. He was real upset then. I have a friend who's mom works for the FBI in Maryland and I am giving her his number to research and hopefully prosecute. I will let you all know the results.

I too got a call from an indian accented Jack Austin, Claiming to be an officer. I couldnt reach him at an area code 303 number he left me, so I called the 9044029930 number and bingo, He wors there and is going to call me back in 15 minutes ! I am going to give him a little run for his money now that I know its a scam LOL   Cant wait for him to call back !!!!

I received a call from 904-402-5658 in which they left a message on my phone providing my last four digits of my social and that it was a legal matter a***nst me but would not state what the matter was. I have received numerous calls like this from different numbers about payday loans being outstanding. Everytime they would give me the name of the loan company I have never heard of it. Its becoming very annoying and wish they would do so****ing about these calls.

Pissed over scam Indian man called claiming he is officer eric johnson and my name and ssn are under question and my ssn has been blacklisted and the gov will be taking legal action aginst me if i do not call him back asap. he claims to be from the "Legal Affidavit Processing Department"
