C As has been happening quite frequently lately, I receive a call, I answer, instantly hit "Record" (feature of my phone), and say "Hello". I hear no reply. I then say "Add me to your do-not-call list" and it disconnects.

annoyed person An automated phone call telemarketing a home security system. They call you even when they are on "closed" hours, so if they call before 10am and you call them back, the robot voice will say no one's available for business. When they are reached during business hours, an automated voice named "Andy" will ask you what you need. I've requested they remove my number off their system, get ***ged up from, and get called a***n by the same number the next day, or sometimes even 3 hours later. Very annoying. I don't know how they got my number, but they've been calling it since February 2015 and call inconsistently. Sometimes 3 times a day, sometimes just once a week. I wish the number would stop calling me all together. Also it sounds like a scam telemarketer.
