Called repeatedly , never left voice mail or messsage

Tery S. Missed the call - on my cell. No name with number. I never call back unknown callers. Am on the Do Not Call list so why are they calling?? Grrr! People on other sites report it is a telemarketer trying to donations for cancer. Sounds like scam to me.
