I got a message today from them saying I had a law suite a***nst me for fraud ss and to call him back right away or the cops would be at my door. So I called and i blocked my number cause I know that I never did nothing wrong. When I called it right to voice mail about cash advance America and his name is Tom Jackson. I then looked it up online and seen so many scams with that number an name. I then called backed blocking my number and told him never to call my phone a***n and I record everything on my phone plus messages. I am gone to the police Friday plus calling everyone I need to. I can't wait till they catch him or them they will believe that. This happened to me a couple of years ago and  the cops called them and talked to them and I never heard nothing till today. This is some bs but if you know of anyone else I should contact please let me know!

I get calls from this number for various employees who work in the warehouse. I try to explain that we have too many employees to pass calls or take messages. I get 4 or 5 calls a week from these people. Today the guy told me to "Go F$%&! myself"He did not say his company name

they keep calling me and ****ing up

I googled American Law Firm/Cash Advanced America and sopoke with the people there. They told me they have FBI agents working on the case to catch the person(s) behind this. She advised me, as I will you guys, to go to the police station and file a police report on the number and name that you were given. The number is (714) 597-7300 ... the lady was very helpful

I also got a call from this same number and "company" today. When I told him, Tom, I would call the police he TRIED to threaten me by saying he would call the cops and have them at my door. I, as some others, have not taken out a payday loan. I want to know how to go about reporting him/them. They called back 3 times after I ***g up and didnt answer. yeah this scam is huge dont listen to james(tom). authorites in this area say that tom is somewhere in nichols new york area. places thousands of calls and if he gets one or two people the scam works.he has even called my friends saying they cosigned said loan and that there goin to jail. he doesnt know anybodys situation if he gets a rich aunt or a scrared elderly person or someone with law troubles.they might pay.be also aware that he will call and say that this loan is linked to (AND THEN HE SAYS THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR SOCIAL)and trys to get the rest of the number out of u or your friends so he can take out a legit loan in your name then the loan does become yours. so if u do engage tom on the phone give him fake numbers ask for his social, his address,his birthday,he quickly s****s to fumble after a while of harrasing me i turned the tables and s****ed giving it back but i dont suggest this to all becuz he tries to push the right ****ons to get the info he needs  his name is tom jackson aka tom johnsen aka frank retoodid aka mike ***t  this message has been brought to u by the society to take tom jackson down becuz he is a s***bag and a loser

Nice try bud. With your broken and misspelled English, it looks like you work for this scam company. Please, no one listen to James. You cannot be arrested for a civil matter, especially a delinquent debt. James and his other scanner buddies need to brush up on the FDCPA. But, they won't. They are in India and most likely have a google voice number that they keep swit****g. DBag

ya me also receiving this kind call and believe me this is true and i really taken a internet payday loan and forgot to return the funds to the company.......... me have certain experience to my relatives and they ignore them.......they also thought its a scam, but after some days......they found the cops at their door......... and got in to the jail and paid a heavy penalties ...............that's why i have paid the loan in the full amount and receive a legal receipt for that..............so i suggest you to pay the loan................

When I see numbers I do not recognize; I do not pick up the phone. Eventually, they will figure out that they will not get in touch with you or get any money out of you. Payday loans are illegal in some parts of the country. Any one trying to collect in an area that is illegal can be prosecuted by law. Please turn in these people. Times are hard and people are trying to make a buck; even if they have to cheat you out of your money.

I received a phone call at 1032 and a voicemail from a 904-672-9973 TOM JACKSON from Advance cash America stating that I need to call them back regarding a loan that I have taken out with them in 2007. I never ever did any business with any cash advance places anywhere. I called the number back and I was told that I will go to jail and a lawsuit is in effect for my name for a certain amount that I have taken out from Advance cash America in 2007, I was given a case file with the number. Tom was very adamant that I settle my amount (that was not disclosed to me) over the phone or I will go to jail and he s****ed being very rude when I s****ed asking for information as far as what was the address used for this supposed loan. I have been calling the phone number back and Tom keeps on ****ing up on me and when I called a***n from my work number he said that I don't need any extra information from him and he won't give me any extra information at all. His name a***n Tom Jackson phone number 904-672-9973 and he states he works for Cash Advance America. I even called Cash advance America fraud line to report this so called attempt to collect a debt and they said that this is a scam. On Google the 904-672-9973 has many forums/complaints s****ed from different people and there are a few names that were used with the same phone number. I believe that this so called Tom Jackson needs to be arrested for trying to scam people out of their money and making threats.

A man called said his name was officer Frank Miller with an investigation Department. Said an investigation was filed a***nst my social security number and if I did not call him back I would be arrested and in a lot of trouble. He is calling me at work and on my cell phone.

I received the same exact call. Someone with a foreign accent contacted me and stated that they were law enforcement and that they were filing a lawsuit a***nst my name and social. When I contacted the number back it was Cash advance. I have never taken out a payday loan.

This is a scam you can report them to the FBI.... I would recommend it, but the only problem is that they are using a box to scramble them numbers... Good luck and hope all well..

I am receiving the same kind of call from this phone number. They have my info and say they have a law suit for me.

I have received several calls from this number. On the line is a man with an Indian dialect named "Tom Jackson"..yeah, ok... accusing me of theft by internet, securities fraud, federal bank fraud and failure to repay a debt! he said that I took out a payday loan in Jan 2009 and if I didnt make arrangements with him to pay the loan immediately, he would send cops to my door to take me to jail for 8 months.I called him back, made him aware that the call was being recorded and asked him to repeat the information that he had just given to me. I asked him to state his full name and the name of the agency he represented and I also kindly let him know that I had reported the phone call to the FTC and the State attorney's office. He refused to give me any info and he ***g up on me!!

Keep getting calls from these numbers. They have gotten me to send money once. Fortunately, they could not validate the debt, so I was able to dispute the trasfer and received 100% of my money back. Please be aware that it is totally illegal to threaten a person with incarceration. After my first experience with these so called debt collectors, I have been in contact with the FBI. They are most likely coming from a call center in India. They will use the name of a legitimate legal firm. DO NOT SEND THEM ANYTHING!!!! THIS IS A MAJOR SCAM AND THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED. PASS THIS INFORMATION ON.

This place called me and posed as an officer of the law. When I asked the indian caller what his badge number and what police department he worked for the man s****ed cussing at me and using very vulger language. When I responded the caller s****ed to ***ually harass me. I plan to press charges on this guy seeing how I was able to record the conversation

Called my number asking for someone else. I told them wrong number. He got real angry saying I better send money today. Wrong number. I told him if he calls and har***** me a***n I'm going to shove a stick so far up his ****** he's gonna wish he didn't have one. Then he s****ed blocking his number and calling.

Threatened me.  Said they would send law enforcement.  They keep harrassing me

These people are crazy. They are saying I owe money I am reporting them the the Jacksonville, FL police department. This is harrassment in the worst way....

Left voice mails about important legal matters. When I contacted the number back and ask for certain information they would not provide any and just wanted money. When I referred them to my attorney, they quickly ***g up on me.

Would not give me information I asked for. Asked for money to be sent. Said they were a legal dept.
