These people who call from Smith,Dean and****ociates are using illegal scare tactics to try and get people to pay on a LOAN. Yes I did business with a Payday Loan service, but I made an effort to pay them back. Shortly after I took the loan I was laid off and am unable to pay what I owe. This place called and threatened me with jail, I shrugged it off and let it go because I know a loan is a civil matter. What upset me was that they called my elderly mother and left on her a message that both me and my husband were in jail due to an unpaid debt. Of course my mother didn't understand and was so upset about it. I called them back and let the lady know not to call my mother and that I would be reporting their illegal practices, the lady on the phone proceeded to SCREAM at me and then **** up on me. Fight them back, they will back off! These people are NOT a law firm as the name would imply and after doing a little research they are nothing more that ****s who claim to be a business. Google them and you will find all you need to put your mind at ease.

These s*** bags are from smith dean- a collection agency for payday centers ( cash plush) some idiot by the name of tom currant ( he's supposedly the guy who issues the affidavits for each case) called and threaten to prosecute me for writing a bad check. He said felony charges would be brought a***nst me for fraud- which is BS!! NSF checks are a civil matter and not a felony. He said a warrant would be put out for me,and that someone would be coming to my home and my job to arrest me- he was a complete ****. He also got a hold of the contacts I used when signing up for the loan I got. Its been hard for millions of people financially and we are all struggling and for this disgusting company to resort to bullying and threats is completely wrong- Bottom line I called my counties DA as well as a sargeant at my local police department and this company has no way of prosecuting me for felony charges on this. Which by the way they demanded twice the amount I owed. They are full of ****! There are many complaints on this company. Do not be scared and know your rights!! Don't be intimidated by them and give em***** back. I also spoke with the local store where I got the loan and they said I should only be paying the amount I borrowed as well as a 15 dollar fee plus the 10 to send the payment through money gram.

I also got a call from this number a person named MOLLY!!!! calling regarding a bad check.
