I received a call from this number 905-368-5217 with an "UNKNOWN" name displayed on it. He said his name was Jack Howard from NCO financial collection agency claiming I owe them $3256.45 Ca***ian and told me to pay up or he will put a lein, and told me to pay up NOW with a major credit card in full or further legal action a***nst me would be taken."JACK HOWARD" NEVER EXPLAINED WHAT THE DEBT WAS FROM. HE THOUGTH I WOULD JUST PAY UP FOR SO****ING I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. Plus, I check my credit report regularly and their was no NCO Financial inquiry on my credit.BE CAREFUL!!!
THIS PERSON IDENTIFIED HIMSELF TODAY AUGUST 17, 2009 AS A YORK REGION POLICE OFFICER, AND SAID HE WAS DOING FUNDRAISING FOR THE YORK REGION POLICE. Sounded like a scam to *****IS PERSON IS****OCIATED WITH THE YORK REGIONAL POLICE!!! BEAWARE!!!!!

He said I was picked out of a draw randomly.Yeah ..O**** sounds like a scam, I NEVER FILLED OUT A BALLOT, NOT EVEN AN APPLICATION FOR A CREDIT CARD IN LIKE 5 YEARS!!!!HE TOLD ME IF I DON'T PICK UP THE PRIZE, CRUISE FOR TWO, IT WILL GO TO SOMEONE ELSE, I SAID O**** WHO CARES!!!HE TOLD ME TO GO ***CK YOURSELF YOU ****SUUCKERS!!! I received a phone call today, August 16,2009 at around 3:00pm. My seven year old daughter answered the phone and the man told me I won some prizes after filling out a ballot, which I have not in years. When I told him, I am not interested, please don't call a***n. He was getting very upset and aggressive. Not a professional person at all. My seven year old daughter answered the phone a***n, before I told my daughter to **** up, the man on the phone told me to f*** off, and said my DAUGHTER IS A F***IN ****T.VERY RUDE!!! NOT SO****ING A SEVEN YEAR OLD GIRL NEEDS TO HEAR AT THAT AGE!!!
THIS PERSON TOLD ME I WON A PRIZE AND TO GO AND PICK UP YOUR PRIZES. Then when I said no. He called me a C*******ER, and my wife was a C**T, a B***H, and so on!!! AND TO GO F*** YOURSELF!! very professional, I think I should buy whatever they ask for..lol.I have called ***l Regional Police and told them to go to the address they told me to pick up the prizes ar 1510 Drew Rd unit 6 in Mississauga, ON.
I received a call from this phone number with an "unknown" name on it. THIS IS A SCAM BECAREFUL!!!! This is my understanding of what I think the scam they are doing. They check your phone number with your name and address from 411 directory. Then they call you and say you won a draw for some prizes and then ask you to come in person WITH 2 PIECES OF IDENTICATION" THEN YOU DON'T WIN ANYTHING, THEN YOU LEAVE AND THEN THEY APPLY FOR CREDIT CARDS, LOANS, ETC... IN YOUR NAME. By this time even if you check your credit report regularly they have already destroyed your good name.!!!!THAT IS WHAT WILL PROBABLY HAPPEN IF YOU FALL FOR THERE SCAM!!!! REMEMBER, IF YOU DID NOT FILL OUT A BALLOT, THEN IT IS A SCAM!!!!!! THEY ONLY GO AFTER HOME OWNERS THAT THEYKNOW FOR SURE THEY CAN GET LARGE AMOUNTS OF CREDIT LIMITS FOR!!! BE CAREFUL!!!!!
As soon as he mentioned I won a grand prize by filling out some ballot at a shopping mall some time ago, I ***g up.
Same call ..to win prizes for ballot filled out. Nothing to BUY just come and get prize.......LIAR They where selling and investment company we walked away.He had the nerve to call back twice before 9 saying we had missed our apt.
A man calling himself Jack called us several time during the day, the night and on weekends saying that he was a representative of Premium International and that we have won a prize. We told him that we were not interested, asked him not to call back, told him we would report him to CRTC (we did...) He is still calling, he said he would keep on calling and now he is getting agressive verbally saying he never called before !!!???
I spoke to the CRTC and the number to call to report harassing phonecalls of this nature (I posted the above) in Ca***a is 1-866-580-3625... I called and the number lists options to both to complain about specific numbers as well as to be listed on the 'Do Not Call' list. Worth a try.
This morning this man called and aggressively asked what my husbands name was. When I asked who was calling and what was it regarding he shouted "Just answer the question" - and repeated it. I replied that I wasn't interested in speaking to anyone who failed to represent themselves to me and signed off. He immediately called back (twice) and was very aggressive at which point I passed him top my husband who also told him to please stop calling and take us off his call list. He called back and began swearing at me when I picked up the phone and going on saying nonsensical and profane things including - you are 666 and your ***her and motherland are 666 (?!?!) and f-- this and that etc. I ***g up and attempted to make a business call at which point he was still on the line said "oh we tell you when you can use your phone - now you have a problem don't you!?!" (heavily accented voice). He was rabidly obsesive and aggressive about calling back it actually upset me. I then called my local police department and filed a complaint while on my cellphone (my home line kept ringing... he called 11 times in a row including waiting to go into voicemail. He called back and blabbered on the home line a***n so I held it up so the police could hear. Then I called the phone company and filed a complaint a***nst the number and signed up for a service enabling call blocking certain numbers. Next is the CRTC. I encourage everyone to do the same. These people should not be allowed to conduct themselves in this manner.
We've received this call (same as above, Premium International) a couple of times. The reason I knew it was a scam was because they were using my maiden name, but I've been married for a year. If I had truly filled out a ballot in Dec 08 as they said, I would have used my married name (which I did not give to them). The contact info I was given was for a John Matthew x1214. I told him I would discuss it with my husband and call back. Once I googled it, I saw that I won't be calling back. Creepy stuff.
Received a call around 4:30 on a Sunday of a long weekend of all times saying I had filled out a ballot at the mall and won a draw of 5 prizes. Three were trips, one cash, the other a TV. They fished for personal info and what they had was not true. The one guy transferred me to his 'manager' and he tried to explain it. The phone kept cutting out, was kind of ****led and I couldn't hear all they were saying. The address they gave to go get the prize was 1512 Drew Rd, Unit 6 (I think that's what they meant) in Mississauga. They persisted in wanting to confirm personal info so I said I wanted nothing to do with it and they let me **** up. They couldn't tell me when or where I had filled out the ballot.
Received a call from this guy named Sam, saying that I won so****ing from a ballet, I told him to remove me from his phone list and ***g up. He called back 30 seconds later and called me a f&^%$ing****h*&e, very professional I might say.
he said i won a prize from "Premium International". i said i didn't have time..then he asked 'are you indian' to which i responded yes. then he said "that is great, i am indian too" i told him that was fantastic but i still didn't have time, and he rambled on about so****ing before i said bye and ***g up. hahah
When they asked for the owner of the house, I replied by asking who it was & why they were calling. He responded by saying it was Sean (I couldn't make out the last name). I told him not to call our number a***n, because when I asked where he was calling from he said "my house". I told him a***n to never call & he said "that's bu***hit". He's called a couple of times tonight since.
This person would not identify himself so I ****up on him. the phone ranger a half minute later and this person told me I was rude and he was going to come to my home and **** me and he proceeded to give me my address this is not the first time this person has called. What can be done?
They keep telling us that we won so****ing from a ballet that maybe we filled out a few months ago and when you tell them you are not interested they harass you! The guy tonight told my husband to 'go to*****' when he told them he wasn't interested. They have even called us a few times after I have ***g up on them! They called 1 time at 8am on a Sat morning! *******s!Is there really nothing we can do?
Received calls from 905-368-5217 "Ontario Grant (Grants?) Company, 1510 Drew, Unit 6 Mississauga yes****ay saying I had filled out a form at a mall and that was a selected winner for one of their prizes...the usual: trip for 2 to Vegas, 42" TV, etc. Declined their invitation to pick up prize at address above at one of their "prize selection" times 6:15 or 8:15 pm. Reason given for their generosity was that they are just trying to promote their company's name by "word-of-mouth". Just sounded too good to be true!
