These guys were calling me about an account that was real old. You can't expect me to pay for so****ing from 5 years ago!!!  I tried talking to them but they didn't seem to get it.  I googled their company name "Global Credit" and found their website. I sent a request to stop bugging me.  A manager called me back a couple dayslater and told me they were closing my account.  The website is http://www.globalcollection.net

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number. They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

Phone Co. said to fill out consumer complaint form at your state's office of attorney general website.

This company repeatedly calls my home and ****s up on my voicemail without leaving any type of message.  In like term, I have therefore repeated called them back, dialing *67 prior to area code and number (this blocks your number and thus they are unable to identify you as said caller) and simply say nothing....they do not seem to like this.  I have also located additional numbers for Global:  (905) 413-8586 (905) 413-8799 (905) 764-6639 (905)709-1815.  My logic is if they can dish it out...they should be able to take it!  Incidently, (and I do find this embarrassing to admit) I am in the process of bankruptcy proceedings.  All of my attorney's information has been provided to all of my creditors...so Global legally has no right to contact myself regarding this matter.  I have found the above stated process rather entertaining as it has actually caused the company to forward their phones to their voicemail system and has ultimately disrupted THEIR work day.....give it a try.......ENJOY!

This is for Global Credit.  They consistently call my home and **** up on my answering ma****e.  So, playing by their rules, I continuously called them back, dialing *67 before the 1 + phone number (this conseals your caller ID on their end) and simply said nothing.  I did this for over an hour and was more than thrilled to discover that they soon turned on their answering ma****e.  My logic is this:  They must enjoy the harrassment as they have no problem dishing it out to others.  I strongly suggest that others also impliment the above steps in dealing with Global Credit.  Here is also an additional number they can be reached at:  905-413-8799.  Have fun!!!!!!

called saying that they had a legal matter that i needed to take care of...would not say who they were or what the legal matter was about. caller sounded nigerian

These calls are really ridiculous. Ive had all the problems stated above. Before they'd call and then **** up now they call and leave a msg about some ****** contrct thing that needs resolved. They never leave a name or name of the company. How do they expect people to take them serious

These idiots always call during work hours so we're never home. Since they won't say what or who they are calling about except to say some bu***hit about a contract non compliance issue that they only have a 48 hour authorization to contact us about (trying to make it sound like if i call I will somehow be able to collect money in some law suit or so****ing). Obviously I don't fall for this nonsense. I called them back after work and left a message telling them that they are calling the wrong place, that they are probably trying to reach some woman who used our phone number (who we are constantly getting calls for from creditors) and to stop calling us. Then I dialed *60 which on most phone services triggers your call blocking feature, followed the prompts, programmed their number and voila! No more jack***es from Markham, Ontario calling me.

I am getting the same messages as described earlier.  I answered the first time because I thought it was an outbound call from AT&T Customer Service which legitimately uses 905 numbers.  The first call had the recording about "Press 1" followed by a long tone as though it were pressing 1 itself to make the message continue.  The second call was a live male voice trying to sound mean about all this "non-compliance" garbage but then he forgot himself at the end of the script and said so****ing polite like "please" or "thank you" and sounded nice as he disconnected the call.  These are just a bunch of idiots in some call center in Ontario and they can sound as intimidating as they like for all I care, I'm filing Chapter 7 and they can all drop dead because they've got no legal standing.

Called and harassed me for no reason on a rather LENGTHY, voicemail saying I was a non-cu....plient person who has "dis-obeyed" my financial obligations??? *** are these people smokin'....IGNORE AND REPORT immediately. I turned off the answering ma****e and they will not **** up! It's been ringing and ringing off the hook!

Last night i received a call from a man saying that I need to call him within 48 hrs to help him with some papers on his desk. He said that it is a Non-compliant to a contact agreement and that he is allowed 48hrs to establish contact that is pertinent to resolution.He called from 1-905-413-8660.Asked me to call 1-866-274-8496.someone needs to stop this!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call on my cell phone last night at 9pm from 905-413-8660. I didn't answer it and HE ****tle/immature man trying to sound big & imposing) left a message for someone, he did say who he was calling for "I have information on my desk about a non-compliance to communicate....blah, blah, blah...in order to resolve please call 866-274-8496 during "business hours"....HA - he called me a 9pm EST...the FCC should shut these people down.

Some male just left a very threatening message on my answering service at 8 p.m. this evening. No name of company except for Markham, Ontario Ca***a on caller ID. Didn't say who it was for, just that I had 48hrs to be contacted.

Just got a bogus message on my voicemail from this number:"We have a longstanding issue of yours.  I would like to see if we can resolve this issue.  Please call 1-866-274-8496."So manipulative....

This number will call every so often and never leave a message.  Today however, my voicemail picked up so****ing before they ***g up.  Could hear a man say the "C" word.  Reading various websites with comments about this number, I am glad that I do not answer.

Recorded message, very threatening male voice: "To stop these phone calls, press 1 now," followed by an extremely loud, long beep.  Very abusive and frightening.  Message is repeated.  No name or company is given.

Someone called my mother's EX in laws of 10 years ago supposedly looking for her recent husband.  I called the number back and acted like I was my mother.  They were talking yadda about him owing 8000$ to Washington Mutual before they closed or so****ing like that.  Ok they didnt ask me any information, they just took my word that I was my mother.  Also, they sent no mail to their house or called his OWN relatives so why would they be calling my moms ex in laws?  There are other websites saying this number is a FRAUD.  So****ing needs to be done about these scammers trying to get money off of people! 1-866 numbers are free numbers given out to anybody wanting to s**** a business!!!

Global Credit has been hassling us about some guy we knew 20 years ago that put me down as a contact. I have no idea where he is or how to get him but they keep calling and calling. They are so ****** I have been putting them on hold to make them wait till they **** up. They s****ed sending automated calls that say I must call them in 48 hours (like that will happen) if they read this it is not a contacts responsability if you are ****** enough to give credit to a ***** head to tell you anything and you could be sued for harrassment.

Global Credit has been calling our number trying to reach someone who lives 2 doors down!  They don't even have the right person or apartment!!They call from (905)413-8660 and (866)274-8496

They call day and night and i know i dont owe any credit company money.
