Jargon The problem is that the kind of people that use, or are referred to debt consolidation and credit service firms are usually the untrustworthy type who would use a fake phone number. In addition to the phone companies being forced to "recycle" old and out of service numbers for overall lack of availability, it is possible that your number has been given to this firm illegitimately by the individual using it. Given the serious nature of the collection industry, it is expected that they will be a bit rude and tough; Afterall, how else can they educate deadbeats to pay their bills? They are just doing their jobs, so the blame cannot be squarely placed on them alone. I myself just got a new phone, and before it was even activated, I already had three messages on my voicemail from a credit collections firm that I had no dealings with. I guess the m**** is teach your kids to teach their kids to pay their bills so my grandkids don't have to sleep on their floor because some poorly informed repo guy broke into the wrong house to repo the bed.

I've beengetting calls from these people as many as 6 times a day. I have no outstanding debt so whom everthey are looking for its not me. It's a recording that continues to fill up my answering ma****e. I've gone to thier website for contact info no such luck. I wish they would just dry up and go away. Nothing like taking a chemo treatment and having the phone wake you up a half dozen times with their lovely nonsence!

I received several calls from these guys..When I called back to find out what these guys wanted,I was told that I had an old credit card bill that I never paid. When I looked into it, it turns out that they were right (oops!).  I was able to settle my account for half the amount owing.

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number. They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

These guys were calling me about an account that was real old. You can't expect me to pay for so****ing from 5 years ago!!!  I tried talking to them but they didn't seem to get it.  I googled their company name "Global Credit" and found their website. I sent a request to stop bugging me.  A manager called me back a couple dayslater and told me they were closing my account.  The website is http://www.globalcollection.net

It's a collection agency!ppl don't pay their bills - they duck and run - c****e phone numbers - these agencies call to gather information. the reason for the ***ue responses from the representatives is because each delinquent/unpaid account is seen as a case or file. Information about the individual in questioncan not be exposed to a 3rd party.

This Phone Number Is A Collection Place That Calls For Old Accounts. I Was Sick Of The Phone Calls So I Did A Search And Found Their Website Globalcollection.Net And Put In A Complaint. Some Guy Called Me Back And He Got The Calls To Stop.
