Is this number American Express....the # showed as Unknown Name.....why would American Express have so much of my personal information about work/jobs.....bank address and line of credit  when I never gave it to them...? This is crazy, when there are so many scams around....and then they ask me for a personal cheque for $1....****, if this is American Express, I feel like telling them to act business-like or go to thy kingdom come!!!

This number keeps calling and no one is on the other end. they just **** up.What's with that?@#?!  This annoys me greatly....If one has business with me, man up and talk with me!!!Shesh......

Dido.American Express.  Why it ****s up I have no idea, as they acctually had a legit reason to contact me.  Let them leave a message, then call them back at 1800 #.

I just recieved a call form the same ph # as everyone saud and asked few personnel questions....shouldn't they have Amex ID for the Agent?  I thnk they need to identify them selves with AMEX AGNET ID and office location.  I did end up answering to their questions and I though let me google this #....and here I am.....well, Hope this American Express #....

I just received a call from this number this afternoon, I had talked to them about an hour ago and provided them some information regarding my application.Yes, it is American Express.

I received a called from this # today. It was AMEX. I had applied for a credit card. The first time they called I answered and they ***g up, but called back a few hours later and left a message on the answering ma****e.

Should be Amex since I applied for a credit card a couple of a days ago.

received a call from the number, rang twice and ***g up without me answering. then a few seconds later called a***n, i answered and they ***g up.

I had the same experience. Amex.

This appears to be AMEX.  When I applied for a card they had to ask some security questions and this is the number that appeared on my caller id. After I answered the questions and got approved, I s****ed getting calls (from AMEX) from a different number 18887502639. Nightmare.

This number called me saying he is from AMEX bank of Ca***a

i think they call if you've recently applied for a credit card
