I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.

These guys were calling me about an account that was real old. You can't expect me to pay for so****ing from 5 years ago!!!  I tried talking to them but they didn't seem to get it.  I googled their company name "Global Credit" and found their website. I sent a request to stop bugging me.  A manager called me back a couple dayslater and told me they were closing my account.  The website is http://www.globalcollection.net

I am trying to run a business and these people think it is funny taking up a working stiffs time. Is there anything I can do about this???/

Similiar to the Miss Crawford message.  Mine says so****ing to the effect of "Due to Federal and Provincial Regulations, I am unable to provide any information.  To discuss the matter, press 1 or call 877-342-3271 Ext. 1342 and a qualified representative will****ist you further.  They don't say who they are, what they are calling about or even ask for anyone by name.  This alone makes me very su****ious.

Very annoying. They call me many times a day at the office. Impossible to call them back to ask them to leave me alone. They say they cannot talk to us because of federal or provincial laws. Yah, sure.

Yeah, i got the same message twice today Sept 14, 2010. Clearly a scam to get so****ing.

Have been called at least a half dozen times in the last 24 hours from this number (905-280-1342) with the following message "Good-day, Miss Crawford here.  It's been brought to my attention that every opportunity has been presented to you to rectify the matter at hand and you've yet to do so voluntarily.  If you do so wish to have a say in the matter, and stop any further detriment effect a***nst you, I do highly recommend and advise that you either stay on the line and contact my office back at 1-866-350-1405, ext 8568.  One of the agents will be more than happy to****ist you."Yeah, I'm SURE they'd be happy to****ist me if I provide with enough personal information...
