Michelle These letters are indeed a scam. I knew it when I saw the letter. I did take the check to the bank and they confirmed that it is indeed a scam. Show it to your bank, but don't deposit it. They need to know so they know not to cash any checks like these that come. Good luck

This guy is part of a check fraud scam. They sent me stolen checks and asked me to cash them and transfer the money to them. What kind of an idiot would cash a check for 159K that looks all whed out from some mystery guy. I called the company where the check was from and it was stolen. They want you to wire them money from your account and keep a share, but it is just a scam to get the legitimate money from your account. I guess Ca***a does not care that this guy is scamming people from inside their country. He sends packages from their with stolen checks. Calls himself James Ushida

Aztec55 I got a letter not a call. Ya, that Barbara Jones sure has a bad accent I don't know what race she is. And I asked her if this was a scam and she said it was for real. What a dream chrusher! Put that woman or what ever in jail.

Terry L Not a call but a letter from Starmark Financial Inc.  Check number 626831 in the amount of $4890.00 drawn from West Milton State Bank, West Milton, PA.  This was signed by Mary Williams, Promotion Manager.  This is an obvious scam, as the details in the letter are very ***ue, and the amount on the check is misspelled ('ninty' instead of 'ninety').  I believe this cons***utes mail fraud in the US.

kelly I did not receive a call, but received a check in the mail for 4890.00 with Lewis McGregor as the contact in the letter.  The bank ins***uion is Citzens & Northern Bank Liberty,Pa I am going to turn the check over to the police department and let them take of whatever and w***ver they need to take care of.
