908-583-1806 , Rahway , N. J., calls as Electric Company on the caller ID . They are spammer / scammer Telemarketer who call and call trying to get you to switch electric suppliers . Do not answer or speak to them or call them back . Once you call them back or answer their call they automatically switch your electric carrier .

I don't know anyone in north Jersey...they didn't leave a message on my cell, so I'm sure it's a spam call.

called daily, sometimes several times. I do not recognize the number so I do not answer the call. It is a great inconvenience for me if the phone is not by my side as I am wheelchair bound. Since caller is not a friend or a relative I****ume it is a Spam Call or a Scam call or both.

I received 5 calls within 7 business days from this number. No message was ever left, so I checked them here. From the various comments, I'm****uming they're spamming, so I've blocked them. I don't need a new power company or annoying calls from someone without a message.

After getting lots of these phone calls, I told the person I'm not the decision maker as to our electricity company so to please stop calling me. He said he would but I kept getting calls. Then I found a blog comment that said to call 866-246-7196. I did and it was for a do not call request service for a small number of companies that call consumers. Just give the caller's phone number to verify it's on their list and the receiving phone number for the do not call list.

Multiple calls to all of my families cell phones. Blocked with Verizon Wireless blocking feature. May give me some peace for now until they s**** with a new number. Will block that number also. Who would ever do business with these guys anyway.

Been calling multiple times. Finally answered and spoke to someone. They say they work for Power Choice and I may be eligible for a lower electric bill. Asked for my account number and address. When I said I wanted to call them back he said I'll get a call back number after I enroll. no thank you! ***g up!

called at 6 40 pm 2/17/2014 I think previous person is correct, they keep c****ing their phone number. how can these -----keep doing this? the do not call list doesn't seem to work. How annoying

This is probably the same coward telemarketer that rings phone until voicemail comes on They keep c****ing the number because the last one was reported as an attempted scam If you get too greedy you may end up on American Greed.
