908-583-1806 , Rahway , N. J., calls as Electric Company on the caller ID . They are spammer / scammer Telemarketer who call and call trying to get you to switch electric suppliers . Do not answer or speak to them or call them back . Once you call them back or answer their call they automatically switch your electric carrier .

Chrissy I've gotten these calls since January 10 and just about daily until late last week I found a comment on another website that said to call 866-246-7196. I asked the lady that answered what's it about and she said they provide the do not call request service for a small number of companies that call consumers. Sounded good to me so I gave the caller's phone number which she verified on their list and added my receiving phone number to the do not call list. It took a couple of days to process but the calls did stop afterwards.

Ella Whew, finally the calls stopped after I called 866-246-7196, thanks to Jonas's 7/19 comment.
