Caller ID says exc****e student.

ID says Exc****e student. The search says horizon marketing - Ontario CA

I want them to STOP calling.

this is ID says EXC****E STUDENT....  number re-registered under different name...

do not know who this is as are phone is unlisted.

The caller id says Exc****e Student. Won't leave a message but **** up when ans. ma****e picks up. Call several times a week. I have been on do not call registry for over a year!

The caller ID said it was an exc****e student calling so I answered and when I heard the female voice s**** talking I realized it was a telemarketer calling I looked up the number and it turned out to be Horizon Marketing. I feel it was misleading and shouldn't be allowed.

Michael, Thanks for your posting.   Caller ID said "Horizon Marketing" with this phone number.   I didn't answer but check out the number in google.   Your post has great advise and I appreciate you taking the time to post all that you did.   909 259 5564 did leave a message on my voice maild which I deleted.  Thanks a***n.

Received an unsolicited and unwanted call from 909-259-5564 Horizon Marketing just now. All of our numbers are on the Do Not Call List. Stop calling!

Shows up on caller id as above name. We don't answer, they **** up on the ma****e.

Message claims to be looking for families for exc****e students.

Horizon Marketing using a robodialer that ****s up if it hears a voice. When you call back it says that you are contacted because of a telemarketting oppertunity and to press 1 to get put on their do not call and press 2 to contact someone. Pressing 2 is a full box and pressing 1 does nothing. Reported to the BBB hopefully so****ing happens to this company since they are violating federal law

Interesting - about 15 minutes after calling to get off of the TRC Mkt Research 800-552-9841, this # called (had never called before).   I think when you call and ask to get off one list, you appear on another.

Unfortunately the Do Not Call list is a joke. I filed a complaint and received a letter from the FCC basicallly admitting so. These companies have paid off so many Politicians that the "Law" has no teeth.

Why does this marketing company feel that they can call my number that I have submitted to the Do-Not-Call list? Isn't this the exact reason why we signed up in the first place? If they are violating the law how can we report them?It seems that lately we have been receiving many calls that usually show either "Name Unavailable" or "800 Service" or some political reference like "District of Columbia" in the caller ID with a phone number that can not be traced because it is either not in the US or it is a forged number of some kind. This has become a BIG nuisence.

I hate people who call me I do not know try to sell or want so****ing!

909-259-5564 is a large Marketing company called "Horizon Marketing" that does Internet and phone marketing.  They probably got your phone number from Wal Mart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Kohl's or any number of other large national accounts where you paid with a cxredit card and the clerk asked you for a phone number.  You are NOT required to give your phone number or any other personal information when you do business with a large national vendor and use your personal credit card.  They all ask you for it, and this is where it goes.  Horizon marketing buys your credit score and other personal information that is available nationally to target you for other accounts.  DO NOT parti****te in any of the phone surveys that follow this acquistion of your phone number and end by asking you for personal information like your race, age and the range of your annual income!!!
