An Attorney Calling to "help" you lower your credit card interest rate. Pushing #1 when prompted, they proceed to tell you they are "Card Member Services" calling on behalf of your bank and want to reward you for prompt payments over the past few months. I asked them for what card; they mention a card I don't have with a bank I don't have a relationship. Then I asked if they worked with AMEX also to see what they said. "Yes, we can help." They then ask what the balance size is; must be over $3,500 or they can't qualify for the program. They are obviously phishing for account information and personal information to steal money and iden***y. I asked for a call back number and was provided (815) 505-1437; when dialed, it was a grumpy gentleman who said he was not card services. The original caller said he was from Orlando, FL yet the caller ID displayed a number from Pomona, CA. Major SCAM!! Help uncover their iden***y so we can take them down with TCPA violations.
