I got a text from this number that simply said my name. My name and the spelling of it is very unusual.

Could be my friend or my brother who im trying to avoid

I got a call from this number 3 times. My number is on the do not call registry. The person did not leave a message. I do not live in California. Wrong number, perhaps. But the fact that "been verified" could not find a single piece of information about this number tells me the owner does not want to be "verified". This means one of two things. Law, or Criminal. If this person calls a 4th time, I'm c****ing my number. If police want me (haven't done nothing but I've learned...one "tip" from a narcissist who likes to use men to destroy other men...doesn't matter if you've done nothing. Cops are dumb and giddy to make a score. My dumb life.) they know where to find me. Which leaves it likely a scammer.
