Leave a CommentThey call me 2-3 times a day on my cell. I never answer. Mu husband gets it too and they say they are calling for a last chance on our car warranty. We both have company cars. What****holes! I called them back and tell them it is time for their chlamydia check up. They quit calling!!!!!!!
Thanks for all the comments, now I know not to pick up. ****** ****s
Pressed one because I am tired of these better act now scams. I dont have a credit card so it was really obvious to me that this was garbage. A man calling himself Jim answered saying he was consumer services. I said I though they were trying to defraud me and he screamed " I absolutely detest what you are saying. Just **** up if your not interested, and don't press one you a**hole!"I could care less except I know there are gullible folks in this world getting *****ed by these scam "artists". Help out and press one and enjoy ruining a waste of skin's day.
I sleep days and twice they have called.. I tried to get them to stop listing to a bunch of pre-recorded numbers and pressing ****ons but never talked to anyone and only went in circles.. I think we should all get one of those magic jack things or skype and just call them all the time..... How do these people live with themselves and how is this not harrasing...?
How bad do I want to see if this guy has the nerve to say these things if I am able to contact him? I would like to set up a dial station from random terminals across the area and see how he likes being interupted at work (by work I mean a real job). He is a coward and a loser.
About the illegal part of telemarketing or collection calls is the companies that use predictive dialers. The only way this is illegal is if you first list your mobile number on the National Do Not Call Registry. As for this number being FIA Card Services, it is not. FIA is a prominent issuer of credit cards that include, Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, only to name a few. We have a department that handles ins***utions that try and dub themselves as FIA Card Services so I will be filing an investigation with them. Many companies try to claim that they can lower your interest rate for you if you are willing to give them all your information, including social security number, billing address, home phone, and credit card number. Also they will want to charge you usually a fee that varies between $700 and a $1000. You do not need a company to lower your interest rate. A credit card company is no more willing to work with them then they are you. If you want to know if you qualify for a lower interest rate all you have to do is call and speak to a credit ****yst. Most often if they cannot get you a lower rate they can get you some type of promotion, 0% on a balance transfer for 12 months or 0% on all gas purchases for 6 months.I want to stress the importance that you do not ever need to use a company of this nature and I want to reassure you that this company has no affiliation with FIA or any credit card issuer.
I did a little research yes****ay, copy this link and paste for a little more info http://www.city-data.com/forum/business-finan ... total-scam.html. I mistook the number for a business that I have been working with. Once I realized my error, I pressed "2" to request to be removed from the call list. A man answered and I asked to be removed from the call list. The man replied "Yeah, I really don't think that is going to happen." I told him that I was calling my lawyer if I continue to be called, and he said "Where is your lawyer, put him on the phone, oh wait, you're not with him, you can't, you don't have a lawyer you f**king B**tch." He then ***g up the phone. I did contact my lawyer with the number, and I am continuing to research.
Called my cell while I was at work. No message. I always look up numbers I don't recognize. Very annoying.
I just received the second call from this number. On the first call last week, I pressed (2 I think) to have my number removed from the call list. Since that did not happen, I answered today and was rudely greeted by JIM. I still thought that this was one of my own credit card companies and asked what company this was. He repeated rudely that Consumer Services. I may be dense but I still thought that he was just giving me the department within a company and asked once more...he then proceeded to chew me out and call me dumb and ***g up...I called the Dealer Services that is listed in many other websites as the owner of this number and they were nothing but evasive and told me that this could be one of their 1,000 companies that they deal with and he would add me to the do not call list...this was not a satisfactory end to the whole ordeal that has now taken 30 minutes of my valuable time!
Why does anybody ever answer these phone calls? If you don't recognize a number, don't answer your phone. Not even a scammer will spend money to use a resource that is unproductive, so if ***ody answers, the phone calls will eventually stop. Just don't answer. Don't call back. Delete the messages. Go on with your happy lives and ignore them. In this case, ignoring the problem really will make it go away. I mean, can you imagine a company, con artist, or scam, paying money for a phone system that never yields any results? Of course not! I am pretty sure that these calls are ultimately generated by the phone service providers so that their customers use more minutes, bringing the companies greater profit and justifying a greater use of bandwidth.

The automated message stated the call was from "Card Services" and told me they could lower my interest rates by pushing the #1. I did (to see what info I could glean) and was asked if I'd like to lower my interest rates. I said, "Sure!" Then asked how much credit card debt I had, "$5,000" and how many cards I held, "3". Obviously, I wasn't a big enough fish for the guy, because he ***g up without saying another word. Next time I'll now better. I'll be over $20,000 in debt and have 6 cards and almost going under - drowning in high percentage interest rates.

I HAVE FOUND OUT WHO THIS IS!I HAVE FOUND OUT WHO THIS IS!The name of the company 'Dealer Services,' based out of Trenton NJ.There are two good ways to handle this, and I recommend both.1. This is the link to their Better Business Bureau report, where they actually have a satisfactory record! Click on this link and file a complaint.http://newjersey.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=89&bbb=0221&firm=110014742. Call the local Trenton Police and the State Attorney General and let them know these people are scamming hard.Trenton Police Department: (732) 531-3689 Complaint Formhttp://www.njconsumeraffairs.com/ocp/ocpform.htmThese people have been calling me at an unlisted private number(which I don't put on applications anywhere) for two weeks on end, multiple times a day. When I ask where they got my phone number, or who they are, they **** up. They also call from faked caller ID numbers, which I am under the impression is a felony. I had to fake an application to find out who the***** they were. They also said they got my information from Consumer Reports, who say they don't sell personal information to anyone. They also mentioned consumer lists, but would not tell me anymore and a***n ***g up.They also tried to sell me some scam direct TV setup.Different phone numbers they call from: 234567891, 7048241393, 5712610103, 8007254899UPDATEThese people are now calling claiming they are FIA Card Member Services, and from the following phone number as well.909-650-9162
