Jennifer - Your English is about as good as the English I got on the message from an obviously Middle-Eastern person by the name of Chad.  If his name is Chad then I am a man.  They are a collection outsource company.  I was listed as a reference on an account for a friend and now they are trying to collect one me.  Completely illegal for the following reasons:  Third party disclosure (discussing the debts of the friend that has the debt), threatening legal action on a voicemail, threatening legal action on me, and they say they are from the department of legal investigations/Department of Collections - neither exists.  Since neither exists, they are misrepresenting themselves.  If you receieve the call a***n and have never taken a pay day loan, report them to the better business bureau and to state's attorney general.  I would call them back and request a phyiscal address to write a cease and desist letter (via registered mail).  If the calls continue - then you can sue.

they are calling you to settle your debt. as i m very thank full of them. they provided me a settlement option to repay the outstanding loan.

Called me at work today. When I asked who was calling the man said his name was Mark, then when I took a message he told me his name was Paul. Interesting.
