Tim Shockley When I called the number I confronted the person as running a scam and they ***g up immediately. Like others have said they claimed in the recorded message that I had a tax claim a***nst me and was going to be arrested

Scammer's saying they are from the IRS and are filing a lawsuit a***nst you. I have reported it to the Attorney General as per the IRS instructed me to do.

Get calls from this # every other day-no message. Annoying.

This phone number keeps calling me and I have asked them to stop calling me and send me a letter I cant really understand them. The gentlemen told me he is from Stone &****ociates law firm. where do i report this harrassment.

Amy Jennifer - Your English is about as good as the English I got on the message from an obviously Middle-Eastern person by the name of Chad.  If his name is Chad then I am a man.  They are a collection outsource company.  I was listed as a reference on an account for a friend and now they are trying to collect one me.  Completely illegal for the following reasons:  Third party disclosure (discussing the debts of the friend that has the debt), threatening legal action on a voicemail, threatening legal action on me, and they say they are from the department of legal investigations/Department of Collections - neither exists.  Since neither exists, they are misrepresenting themselves.  If you receieve the call a***n and have never taken a pay day loan, report them to the better business bureau and to state's attorney general.  I would call them back and request a phyiscal address to write a cease and desist letter (via registered mail).  If the calls continue - then you can sue.

I just got a call from 'Patricia'.  Clearly not her name as she could hardly speak English.  I did not answer the phone.  She left a message said they had a legal issue with me.   Caller ID had the number 973-735-0021 but she said to call 914-205-2297.  I have found both of the numbers to be scams.
