I received two phone calls today from this number, and I only answered thesecond call.  The recording said they were looking for Charles King, but he islisted as a user or previous user of this phone number, according to a peoplesear****g service.  Obviously, this does not make sense.  I was given the option,via recording, to remove my name from their call list if I was not Charles King,which I did, because the last time I checked my driver's license, I am notCharles King.According to other bloggers here, this is really the National Credit CollectionsBureau.  In my situation, I believe their motive for calling me is harassment,because my sisters and relatives have been harassing me persistently like this, forfive years, by nuisance calls from many different businesses, including collection agencies looking for different people.  I have no past due debt.DSA

They keep calling for a Shannon Smart, well this phone call cost them last year three thousand dollars, this time it will cost them more.  Here is all you have to do let them call and leave a message then after you have saved three or four of them call them and inform them to no longer call you on this number do***ent the time and date and with who you spoke with. Also inform them that the person they are trying to collect on is not at this number and it is a private number.  Any further calls is in violation of the law and is worth $1000.00 per violation or call.  Then you contact Krohn & Moss, Ltd. Consumer Law Center 323-988-2400 or check out there web page     http://www.consumerlawcenter.com this company was able to obtain $2000.00 for me last year and guess what they just called a***n and left three messages in the past week.  I do like free money and you should to just learn to play by there rules.David

What ever happened to the do not call registry?  No one pays attention to it.....these people call and leave no message...I don't owe anyone. anything......

Call everyday and **** up

They ***g up on me.

Received many voice messages on my cell phone. It filled up my voicemail box. I could only hear a couple of numbers as rest of message was cut off.

Same thing here.  I don't owe anyone and they called my cell phone.  I called the number back from my house phone and got a computer saying "your call will be transferred to the next available operator".  They it ***g up on me.

In regards to 916-233-1008.This number belongs to National Credit Collections Bureau in Sacramento.  Doesn't leave a mssg if this call goes to your voice mail.  No unpaid bills here!!!!  Why they are calling, I have no idea.  They are calling my new cell phone.  Maybe the number belonged to a person who didn't pay their bills!!!

called it back and got a computer and I ***g up on it, then I got another call from this number.  I didn't answer it either time.
