Call ID said Bank of America. Caller was trying to sell me extended warranty on my car. When I asked what company this was she ***g up on me. I get calls almost every day trying to sell me worthless extended warranty on my car. Every call is a different company. They sound genuine because they know some personal details but I never do business with someone that calls me. I only do business with someone when I initiate the contact. When I call this number back the call does not go through. Surprise Surprise! I called Bank of America fraud department and told them what happened. I also told them I have no accounts with them. 1-800-432-1000 Please do the same. The BofA Rep told me they do not do any phone solicitation. Telling these people to take you off their list does no good since they're crooks!

i called back & it was a blank line then i got a fast busy, i tried a***n & there was a long pause & then a weird recording (not the usualy recording) that says call can not be completed. annoying spammers!!!

I got 4 calls in two days on my Cell Phone did not answer the phone when I tried to call back from a different phone all I got was a busy beeping when I looked it up the number it shows MALE America of Bank Phone Carrier shows Pac-West Telecomm It also shows off of the I-5 Type of Phone LandLine BIG SPAM SCAM

Similar to others reported. Caller ID says "Bank of America", but when I queried her full name and company she worked for, she simply said "Yeah... right" and ***g up. I too reported them on the Do Not Call Complaint site. DO THIS to help others.

I had the same experience. This is what I did. Make sure you are on the National Do Not Call Registry. Then file a complaint for them violating it. I googled Do Not Call Registry for my state and then found a place to report them. Make sure you are on a government website and not another scammer.

i got an called  from them and we answered  so i called back but block my number on another phone the same thing they said o wow i know its a scam

A call from this number rang our phone. My wife answered and they disconnected.

Called my work # twice yes****ay afternoon late and once this morning.  I was in my office this morning, therefore answered the call.  The recording states BOA following up on a recent claim.  My work number is not the number I have on file with BOA, so the call is very much unappreciated.

got 3 calls in two days, out of the blue. No recorded message; just ****-up when I don't pick up. I do NOT answer unknown callers; legitimate ones would leave a message. Aaarrrgh!

I recieved a call from Bank of America and I want to know why.  Bank of America at 1-800-432-1000 claims that they have not received reports of this issue.

called x2 in 2.5 hours.  left no message.  I did not call to check why BOA would be calling me.  chances are this is a scam, collecting numbers for other scam attempts.  anybody with the knowledge can s**** an ID for your Caller ID.

I received a call twice today in about a 2 1/2 hour period. Once the call came in as Unknown and once as Bank America. I understand from reading comments from others on here that it is an recorded call wanting you to call another number to complete some sort of survey. Good info Folks. Thanks.. To Bank America and all other companies out there that may be reading this. I DO NOT accept Unidentified calls, nor do I accept very many calls without knowing why they are calling. If I don't know you or why you are calling leave a message. If not, after the first or second call you will be blocked. I am tired of this Telemarketing and Phone Sales game. If you are not invited ..... then you are unwelcome. GET IT.

It is an automated call from Bank of America but when I picked up phone, there was no person on the other end nor any message.  I called the # back & a recording explains that they are following up to a recent time I used their help (I had called when I misplaced my credit card), & I was to call a DIFFERENT toll-free # to complete their brief survey as a follow up.  Not a bad idea, but I don't appreciate automated calls & being ***g up on, nor being inconvenienced to call other #s.  If I hadn't called that # back, I wouldn't know to call them back at a different # to answer their follow up call, which I don't plan to do.

They called me several calls. What did they want from me?

Called at 7:30 PM. I answered the phone-&they ***g up. We have an account with them, but there is a zero balance on it.
