Got the same call from Shawn Wilson on my cell and at work. Never borrowed a dime from them in my life. I am calling back after work and recording the conversation.

I JUST GOT THE SAME CALL FROM (425) 906-5189.....HE SAID HIS NAME WAS DAVID COOPER WITH FEDERAL LEGISLATION OF CUSTOMER RELATIONS FOR EZCASHUSA.COM, SAID I HAD A $500 LOAN I DID NOT REPAY, AND I WAS BEING CHARGED WITH 3 DIFFERENT THINGS, INCLUDING CHECK FRAUD, AND EVERYTHING WAS TO TAKE PLACE IN CALIFORNIA.......HE SAID PAPERS WOULD BE DELIVERED TO MY WORKPLACE WHERE THEY CONTACTED ME, WE'LL SEE I GUESS, HE SAID HE WAS IN WASHINGTON AND SOUNDED SERIOUS, LOL WHO KNOWS

I received a call from someone named Shawn Wilson with the exact threat.  I returned the call and he said I was to be subpeo*** and arrested this coming Thursday and that my mother would be arrested as well.  Said he was with a department within the Justice Dept and working w/ federal prosecuters out of San Francisco.  His number is 81****0150 which is a Southern Cali number (near Glendale).  I called the Justice Dept which had no such dept, I called the San Francisco district attorney.  I did call him back and informed him that the Justice Dept has no such dept and that there is no subpeona for me and that 818 is not in San Francisco.  He got defensive and said 'I am a federal prosecuter.  Sue us.  Find us and then sue us.  You have a warrant out for your arrest."  Then he ***g up.

i got the same type of call by joe ... i know that they guys are scams and asking for money...dnt pay them any money.......dnt provide them any information they ask for... if this guys calls me once a***n i m going to report them to FTC and BCC.....

the # i got a call from is 818-746-3566. they first said their name was dean jones, then attorney jack jenkins. they threatened to have me picked up and "see me at the courthouse". they called my job five times and my manager told me about it so i had to call them and got ***g up on repeatedly when they thought i was yelling. which i wasn't.  a very unprofessional man with a thick indian accent kept yelling at me to pay the debt or see you at the courthouse. it was ridiculous. i told them to cease and desist, no longer call my job and they stated (when i said i was recording the call) I DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR JOB AND I HOPE YOU GET FIRED! yes, very professional. anyway, its not been 95 mins since the first call. i don't think im going to jail and i am reporting them. good luck

Thank you all of you.  I have ******ly taken out some advanced pay loans so I actually believed this guy and was in the process of doing everything he asked.  What got me was when I asked him the name of the company that was pursuing this "felony" a***nst me, he s****ed yelling at me, said nevermind about sending him the letter and money he'd just see me in court, I was the one who took the loan and what right did I have to question him!  Plus, he kept identifying himself as Attorney Jack Jenkins and I've never met an attorney yet who calls himself Attorney so and so.  But I was scared and about to do what they asked.  I went so far as getting the prepaid visa card and was about to write the letter.  Thank goodness for this website.Thank you.P.S.  the number he called from for me was `916-687-2974

I gotta a phone call from the same number this moring talkin about they were a law firm and that they needed for me to return some money to them that i sumhow borrowed from them that i no i never borrowed! IT IS A SCAM!!!!

I received the call and was out of office when they left a message.  They said I owed EZCashUSApayday...I could barely understand what they were saying because they had a strong and heavy accent.  S****ed throwing big dollar amount outs like I would have to go to court and pay $5400.00.  Stated his name was Mark Miller.

They got our info from a payday loan application too. They got my last 4 of my social my dob and address. These are true scammers.

yes I got same message his name was Nathan Brooks but it really was an Indian guy he said exactly  what you said. That I need a lawyer and so forth. I did report these scammers. They try for you to pay them for some bill that you suppose owe. I got so mad I told that **** that the conversation was being recorded and that the police is looking for them.

I recieved a call at my job, my home, and my cell. The man said he was Shawn and that oif i dont have my lawyer or i call back asap, That he wishes me good luck and that i am in alot of trouble. This is the 4th kind of scam i got. He was INDIAN souded like a robot,. i called him told him i called the police, didnt give him my name but he said i will recieve a supeona at my job. Where do they get our info from, and why isn't our info on the computer locked? this is real scary how people get all your info and they call u up saying that u are in trouble, also recieved a number from 510 722 6007.

Just got a call from this number.    I agree, they are a SCAM.  Do not give them information.Unfortunately, they had me scared because they knew where I worked, last four of my social, address and bank account information.  They also brought up my co-worker's name (I used him as a reference on a payday loan I applied for recently).  They DEFINITELY got my info from a payday loan website. They told me they were going to take me to court for non-payment on a instant loan, I would be brought to jail, and my credit report would be wrecked.I immediately closed my bank account,  and I'm hoping they don't have my full SSN.  Do not diclose any information to them, and do not give them a payment of any sort. PLEASE!!!!

i too received this phone call at work saying that i have three charges a***nst me dealing with stolen money and debt in loans. they knew the last name of my social and my email address and they said i will be arrested if i did not pay back. i was scared for a while, but then found out it was a scam . so then i prank call them, LOL. same "mark" dude answers.

NO do not call back to this number. I had this number with almost the exact same message saying that his name is Mark Miller and they called my cell and my work. We called them back and they kept asking for our phone number and would **** up when we demanded to know who they were. They mumbled some law firm and then transfered us to a hospital. We called the police and they are looking into it. Hope they catch them soon.

I was left a message on my cell today from 916-756-2362. They used my name in the message and said that his name was Daniel Williams ( sounded like a women with a foreign accent). The message said that either I or my retained attorney on record call them asap that the issue at hand was time sensitive and that if i or my attorney did not call them all they can do is wish me good luck as the situation unfolds. Then it ended with good bye and god bless LOL. Never said who they were.Should I call them back or just not worry about it? Any advice would be great Thanks.

I just received the same phone call and it sounded like a robot voice recording telling me to call them or face what will happen next.  That sounds like a threat.

I too have received phone calls, not only on my cell but at work. They are a scam. Report it to your state attorney generals office and the police. Do not give ANY account info.

i have received the same phone calls, also receiced one from 310-974-8960, unfortunately i paid them and now receiving calls from this number, i believe it is a scam, i have filed a complain with the ftc, if they continue to call you i would do the same, FTC can be found at ftc.gov
