Just received call from 916-910-0792. Claimed to be rep from Fannie Mae, transferred me to another rep who claimed to rep W.G. ***dley bank, a "partner" of Fannie Mae.  Has all my public info at hand, wants to provide me with a refi to reduce my percentage rate.Careful all.

Received a call from 916-910-0792. was an automated dialer.  Went right into trying to sell a HUD Mortgage Reduction loan.  Gave several touch tone options to select, 1, 2-remove your number from our records (my number is on the Do Not Call list, and shouldn't be in anybody's records), 3-speak to one of our mortgage interest rate reduction specialists.The call went on to say how HUD would increase the mortgage interest rate on April 16th, and to "act now, before this new rate goes in to effect", blahblah..."Doesn't the FED handle the mortgage rates?  And banks, that borrow from the feds, can kind of charge what they deem necessary (within limits) to recoup the costs of borrowing from the fed?Anyway, pressed 2, don't like these calls, dont want these calls.  If I want a mortgage rate reduction loan, I'll call my bank, myself.
