They called. No one would answer. Dead air.

Same thing happened to me: call came in, no one was there, and tried to call back but got a message telling me number was unavailable. But I do know the caller is calling on behalf of the Raleigh News and Observer trying to get more subscriptions.

I have gotten three calls from this number today. I answered the third time and got silence and when I tried to call back it said the number was temporarily unavailable.

I have had three phone calls this morning from this number. When I answered, I got silence. When I called the number back, I got an automated message saying the number is temporarily unavailable. It could be some kind of malfunctioning robo call number since I the calls are coming about once an hour.

Recieved call and woman on the other line could barely talk and asked if I recieved my paper today. I said I didnt get the paper and she went silent! Sounds like a scam to me...phone # has been reported to the PD...

Same message here. When I called back, it said the number was not available at that time.

No message left; call back received the same "Mail box is full cannot receive messages at this time" message

Did not answer the call, but when I called back received message stating "mail box is full cannot receive messages at this time."

Claimed to be Raleigh News and Observer, offering a 71% discount on the Sunday paper, but had to give either credit card info, debit card info or checking account info. We declined. Said couldn't offer to be billed by N&O. This has not been the case in the past when I have dealt with the N&O.
