Leave a Commentsame as most got same call 2min. later from 1-800-168-4861. I get 10 calls a month, last 4 months.
I have a missed call on my cell from this number from a few minutes ago.
I received two calls from this number today, and didn't answer because I have no idea who they are. They didn't leave any voicemail messages, so I looked their number up on the web and found you guys. It's nice to know that there are people out there warning others of iden***y thieves! :)
Just got this call for the first EVER. Googled it to see who it was and saw everyone's comments on this. I didn't answer the phone either.
Just got the call and they just ****ed up when i got to it. And tried to call back but it had a busy signal.
thanks for the info i always get this call saying my car warrnty is up now i know its just so BS phone garbage.
Even though a reverse search look-up produces a listed name & address, the person listed is not even aware that his/her info is being used in this manner. As an AT&T Wireless CSR I get calls all the time about blocking calls from #s like this (this is not the only # used). Unfortunatly it can not be done on an indiviual # unless you sign up for a parental control feature (which ****s!). There is also a website that might help - www.trapcall.com. I always suggest to report it as the person did earlier (Bill - 3 hours 50 minutes ago) & others. If enough people keep reporting this issue maybe the FCC or someone will do so****ing about it.
I only use work black berry for e-mail and never given this number to anyone. I was s****led when it rang in the middle of a serious meeting (3:45pm). I immediately disconnected the call but tried to look up the number and found this blog. Thanks for putting this up I will be cautious.
Forgot to mention I didn't get in trouble cause he was my coach too and also just know I'm getting repeated calls and it's pretty annoying
I'm a freshman and I got a call from this number during school and my phone rang during class and my teacher who also is my football coach answered it and he told me "Since when did you s****ed driving!?" These scammeds are dsperate for our information!!!!They called during my 3rd Block class at 1:05pm March 18, 2009
I too just received another marketing call on my cellphone from this number - annoying. Don't necessarily blame the person given on whitepages.com. With some VOIP (i.e. internet calling) equipment, you can set whatever number you want to show as the caller ID.
I've been getting these calls at my home for a while now. And always let it go to answering ma****e, since the phone number is not one I recognize. Leaves automated message "Your Car Warrenty is about to expire...Last chance...."At which point I talk back to my answering ma****e "Bu***hit, warrenty my backside my car is a 1991" (I get a chuckle even tho the calls are annoying). What became more annoying is this dang thing s****ed to call my Cell Phone number, and private at that. I did finally listen to the dang automated voice, till it said "If you do not wish to be on the call list, press 2" So I did. Thinking this would shut this ****** automated telemarketing thing up. It did not. End result I still get calls at my home and cell phones from it and do not answer them.Hey Fidel - I'm gonna get you ****er !
Hey Fidel... duck !!!!!!
Got this call at 4:59 pm central on Tue Mar 17, 2009. It was a recorded message about health insurance. ***g up after 14 seconds. Really ticks me off they are calling my cell and I have to pay for their call. Looked up the number in on whitepages.com reverse directory. Gave a number near Oshkosh Wisconsin: Fidel J Sil***335 State Highway 54Black Creek, WI(920) 984-3592
It is a scam be careful because they will call you over and over i already reported them to the FCC another number that they use is 541-683-5282. I get this call at least 6 times a week if you tell them that you are contacting the FCC they will **** up on you immediately
Same thing - couldn't get to my phone, looked at the number didn't recognize it, called the number back and it was busy.
This is actually a phishing scam. They want to get as much information as they can and will steal your iden***y. It calls from more than just this number. I reported it to the Federal Communication Commission who then sent me to the Federal Trade Commission who explained the situation to me. It is being handled. Do not, under any cir***stances, give ANY information to these people. They can and will steal your iden***y. Also, they may call a***n. I've now been called 18 times over the past 2 months (I've been keeping track).
got a call from this number, returned it and line was busy.
It said it was the last chance for me to receive car warranty coverage, even I did not buy any cars recently.
Just received a call from this # on my pre-paid cell phone #. Only my friends and family have this number. I let it go to voicemail because I didn't recognize the #.
I never answer if I don't recognize the number so the message went to my cell voicemail. It said it was the last chance for me to receive car warranty coverage. I recently bought a car with full coverage from the dealer. I ignored the message. Have been getting these types of calls since I bought the car.
