Multiple phone calls
This is driving me CRAZY!I finally googled the number after getting 4 calls. Each time the phone rang I picked it up and the other end ***g up. The area code was from my local area so I called it back and it said "this number is no longer in service." How can it not be in service when they JUST called? Then tried to do the *69 feature and I got that normal recorded message saying"your custome calling svc.IS working, however this feature can't be reached or traced. Please consult your written instruction guide for svc. limi***ations." So when I CALLED it was a non working #. When I did the caller ID/*69 thing I got the other message. With a "local" number the ONLY way *69 wont work is if it's a payphone, cell, or a call made from a callling card. How do I get this to stop?!I also just realized since this call came from MY LOCAL AREA CODE...it would NOT have come up with the area code. It would have come in with the normal 7 didget call since it was "supposed to be local." Is this some sort of SCAM? Thanks for your time and hope this helps anyone else. Oh, the calls came in between 1:25pm (aprox.) and 1:54pm PST. The 1:54pm call(the last call so far) came in exactly at that time.
