This number sends messages to your phone but when you try to call it, it says “athe wireless customer you are trying to reach” but yet they know that you called them. I have been receiving unwanted messages from the number

This is a 21 year old male from nigeria..he said he got my name and number off facebook..a job I was interested in..after doing the application process in my phone. I was told to go on a link to finish my app..my phone froze up..and the person I was talking to wasnt available online...that happened a year ago..so my info has been floating around for a while
