Leave a CommentOne of dozens of calls from 940 area; sounds like looking for fax handshake but answering only elicits a recording to the effect that the response is not valid and then the call is terminated. No way to call back or to fax back. Complaints to the FCC have not effect and local phone companies or long distance carriers are no help.
Got a call on my business phone line (not fax line). Picked up and it was a fax tone.
