have called before asking for a person who is not now nor has never worked in this department before

This number calls daily.  They've been calling for months.  If we answer we get a fax ma****e.  If we don't answer, it goes to our answering ma****e and we receive a message of "You have entered an invalid response".

I received phone calls from this number.  The caller ID says "Alternative". When I pick up I either don't hear anything or I hear a recording saying "you pressed an invalid number".  And I haven't pressed anything!

I am getting the exact same thing, several times a day.

Called on 4.28.2009 @ 6:58 pm - left no message - a telemarketing firm.

Heard a tone when I answered followed by a recorded female voice that said "That is not a valid entry", then went dead.

Called & recording beeped and then said: "This is not a recognized entry..."

Several times each week I get a call from this number.  There is a fax when  answer.  How can I get it to stop?
