Just got a response from FCC in mail (USPS). Basically says SMS texts from this number do not qualify as violations to any communications acts.From what I can gather the reason is the text includes the domain from which it's being sent.

This call is so bogus.  I keep getting unwanted text messages.

I just received this same text.  It's illegal for someone to contact you via cell phone for commercial purposes if the cell phone owner did not solicit the contact.

I agree, I think it is illegal but there's no one to police it so companies do whatever they want... Personally, I think if you reply back "STOP" they just register your # as valid and you get even more txts...

I just got the same thing too... def a scam and I wouldn't reply STOP either because that just confirms they have a legit #... I wish there was some way to stop this.

Message was a text asking if i was low on cash, complete with website checkadvancenow.com

The message I received is the following: Low on Cash? Ger Your Payday Advance Today! $100-$1500 wired to YOUR bank within 1-HR! Apply at www.CheckAdvanceNow.com YOUR Cash is Waiting-opt out rply STOP I do not have unlimited texts so this should be illegal.
