Leave a Comment"Patricia" from "verizon" picked up, asked for my phone number and name. I replied "Katie" and she said "last name?" I asked what she was calling about and she said she couldn't tell me until she had my full name and user password. I said, no thanks, I will call verizon's customer service number or go in store to see what the problem was. She said "OK" and ***g up. I called Verizon's CS # (1.800.837.4966). I had to use my keypad for my phone number and acct. password. Talked to a rep. and she said my account was fine and no one should have been calling me. I had no outstanding balance or issues.
they asked to talk to someone that isn't me. didn't say they we with Verizon though.
It's the first of the month! Time for these ****** ****** scamming ****s to fire up their auto-dialers and call people claiming they owe them money!
Call on unlisted, do-not-call number with no message left on ma****e. This violation of privacy needs to stop.
Call was from Verizon Wireless letting me know we could upgrade our phones and about new plans. She had info about me only Verizon should have (what plan we're on, our phone numbers, my email address), so it seemed it was really Verizon (didn't ask for any info from me). She wasn't push and it seemed like a courtesy call to me.
I got the call and they just ***g up so I called it back and they announced it was Verizon Wireless. I ***g up on them.
Missed call. No message left.
