I have gotten two calls calls.  One number was out of CA and I will have to see if I can find it.  Yes****ay the number they called my cell phone from is (347) 607-3630 and when I didn't answer, they called my work number from (813) 607-3630.  When the first came about a month ago from CA, claiming to be from lawyer ***in Rich's office, I insisted on a callback number to return the call on my break, did a reverse lookup, and found out it was a scam. I called back and told them I knew they were a scam and I was going to report them to FBI Internet fraud division.  That one got rude and said "You have no money...what you broke?...Don't call me a***n!" and ***g up.  The one yes****ay, claimed to be Officer Davey Jones (original name, eh?), and when I asked for a number to the NY Investigation Dept. that he claimed to be from, so I could verify they were not a scam, he got ****** "You are a scam, (expletive) b***h!" and ***g up.  Now, I just fielded a call today for a co-worker at a regional office from a "Steve" (347) 709-6381.

347-478-5874 and 347-607-3630 the names they gave me was moses mathews and officer micheal johnson they have indian accents. They need to be stopped it bull i want to get back at them for scaring the **** out of me.

I got a cpl of calls,the last call I got he left a  voicemail message on my cell saying that his name was max johnson and his phone too call him back at is: 661-727-3076.

I received a call from a 052569163# and he said he was a cop and would have me arrested if I did not call them back and take care of the law suit he said he was from finnancial investigations. I did not call him back I did a web search of there # and came accross this web sight Thank GOD. I think the dot on there head is affecting the ***in. Idiots

I can undestand the threats as of yet are not real. I know no police wil come to arrest my mom for a debt. I know no lawsuit has been filled.The scarry part of this is that they have your information, your social, your address. That alone scares the F out of me...

This is a very active group of scammers, many of whom are calling from India (and probably other countries) and are in cahoots with a group of American pay day loan scammers. They attempt to extort money from consumers with a myriad of false and illegal threats, and alternately pose as debt collectors, federal and state law enforcement officers, lawyers and bankers. Their trademark is to use meaningless legalese gobbly**** phrases like "We are downloading warrants a***nst you" or "We are filing an affidavit a***nst you." Another trademark phrase is to threaten the consumer with so****ing like this ridiculous phrase: "If you don't pay then only God can help you."Typical of many financial scams of this variety, they usually demand payment via Western Union or MoneyGram or credit card. They use any number of phony names such as US National Bank, Federal Investigation Bureau, US Legal Investigation Bureau, Hopkins Law Office, United Legal Processing, Morgan****ociates, United Pay Services, National Processing, White Collar Crime Unit and many more.  These criminals also use many phone numbers from many area codes; they're probably using caller-id s****ing software and/or VoIP to disguise their real location.The main thing to remember is that anytime someone calls you demanding money to prevent your arrest, or demanding your lawyer's name so they can sue you, it is ALWAYS a scam. No debt collector (let alone criminals posing as debt collectors) has the authority to have anyone arrested for anything. (And it's illegal to them to threaten such a thing.) And since these foreign dirtbags routinely impersonate law enforcement, it's also important to remember that American law enforcement officers aren't in the business of debt collection.  (Debt is a civil, not a criminal, matter.)The bottom line is, these are criminals trying to steal your money

None of their threats or intimidation is real.  They can neither hurt you or have you arrested or sued. They can't do anything to you or your family.  They are silly, barely literate foreign bottom-feeders who would be banned from entering this country if they even tried.  Do not fear them. If you don't wish to engage them, never return their calls no matter what they say, or at worst, c****e your phone number.  They will never be able to touch you, I PROMISE.The phone numbers showing up on your caller id are FAKE, they are not in NY or CA or anywhere else in the U.S.  Don't let them get to you!  Do not send them any money...They cannot touch you.  Remember they try and use scare tactics to get you to send them money, just **** up after you cuss them out.Tell them to shut the F up and go away.

We were scammed out of all our Christmas money from this guy claiming to be a police officer and claming that we were going to be arrested in front of our children if we did not send him $1500 asap, so we did and later found out it was a big scam that is ***ning some popularity. I warn everyone that gets a call from an Indian Accent speaking English barely to not believe anything they say.

There are a lot of reports about these s***bags here. They tried thier scam on me and I am going to get even. These calls originate out of India. They have bought US numbers from RNK telecom and route the calls over the internet. I have been working with RNK to get all known numbers shut down. AS of the last two days I have successfully shut down ten of thier numbers. They know I am doing this to them and they are furious. They call me night and day with threats. I wil not stop untill they are destroyed. If you have any known phone number for them, please respond with it so I can get it disconnected.They use names llike John Smith, Steven Smith, John Conner, Vincent Smith.Do not send them any money or listen to their lies.

I receive a voicemail from this Indian Nigerian Dude says his name is John Smith and there was a lawsuit being filed a***nst me in the state of Alabama. I said ok, then I called the County Courthouse and they said there was no such. Then I called the police and told them what John Smith said and they warned me of a BIG TIME SCAM that the overseas Indians are running on Americans.  They will tell you a bunch of lies and use scare tactics to try and get you to send them money. Don't do it, its a big scam.

These guys are a freakin Joke! I called them, gave them a fake name and fake last 4 digits of SS#, they went on to read a script telling me I owe money etc...The person I gave does not even exist. So funny that they are so ******. They said they looked me up and found out that I have not been arrested or in any financial trouble. These are no doubt scammers.They have either stolen, hacked or was sold your information probably from a payday lender and now they are calling harassing you for money that you don't owe.They are ****** idiots, I keep getting a call from the same guy, John Smith, Vincent Smith, Steven Smith, same Indian accent but they use different numbers. I hope they die or a tsnuami comes in a wipes them off the face of the earth.

I got 3 voicemails from a man with a indian accent so I called him back, he said I was being sued. When I asked him for details he became irate and ******. Later he calls back and says he wants to help me before trouble unfolds on me, and I ask what kind of trouble,he said I would be jailed and ****d and beaten, so I should settle up with him.  I said no, that I wouldn't send him any money and he said the police officers would come and arrest me.He never told me why or whom I was suppose to owe, but he knew my mothers and sisters phone numbers.  This guy was scary so I called the police and they told me it was a scam and no one gets arrested for not paying a bill. But I don't know of any bill I owe except for insurance and the cops said these were scammers, so I'm writing to let everyone know that this name and number is a scam.
