Leave a Commentgot a call from this number, spiel was just like everyone said, but i had filled out an entry form 'pnline' when i asked her what website, she repeated "online". I asked her a***n which exact website i filled out this entry form at, and she said that they represented many websites. seemed very strange that I won a trip, and she doesn't know how. was very pushy saying that i just needed to verify my D.O.B. and address to get s****ed, the scary part is that she had that information already. i wouldn't verify it, and when i didn't she got pushy saying i had to act quickly....I thought I had won so****ing...why now do I have to act quickly?I ended up ****ing up on her after she wouldn't give straight answers to me questions.
SCAM!!!! SHAME ON SIMON MALL FOR ALLOWING THESE FRAUDS TO TAKE OUR INFORMATION FOR SCAMMERS ***N.
Had a Robert Stephens call saying I'd been selected out of the thousands of people that signed up for a compe***ion at the Boston Ski Show. When he kept pressing for my credit card expiration date that's when it clicked it was bogus.Scary thing is that he knew I was at the Boston ski show so one of the raffles that I signed up for there gave out my information to a third party...watch out what compe***ions you enter!!
this number calls two or three times each evening on my cell phone, I don't answer thanks to these warnings. I did however enter some drawings at the New England Ski and Sports Expo with this number so obviously it seems someone is getting the numbers from the winter sports expos (re the Colorado comments) to run their scam.
Karen Pulice ext 1002 is another I talked to her and Barb and some guy Kyle who called and spoke to my poor British boyfriend who thought we actually won so****ing for the first 5 minsI said I had no spare money for the trip. lol
I was recently at the colorado ski and ******ard show and filled out a thing to get free sungl*****. That is how they got my number. I recieved a phone call (954) 237-8087 and I did not answer, they did not leave a message. When I called back I got a answering service so i left my name and number. When I got home i did my research and found that this was a scam. When they called me back I played along and this is what i was promised....This is everything they told me-She asked me if I remembered entering a contest at the colorado ski and ******ard show. (She got my imformation from a thing i filled out to get free sungl*****) I said yes and she told me "you have been selected" and i won an 11 day flordia vacation. She was very excited for me and making it seem as if i just won the lotto. She said I get..7 days 6 nights at the Sheridan right out side universal, breakfast included everyday. Its a 1 bedroom suit, and i can bring 4 friends. I also get(2) 7 day p***** to all the universal parks, and I get to go directly to the front of line.It also includes a mid sized rental car from enterprize for 7 days. All i had to do was check out a new resort and someone would take me around the grounds on a golf cart.I also won a 4 days,3 nights vacation in a 2 bed room suit in daytona.she said it was 5 star and its name is the Bahama house. I went to the web site and it is a dump.. She said i have 18 months to claim my vation and that i would also get Air buck coupons which i have never heard of nor is there anything online about airbuck coupons. she said that they don’t expire. The women said her name was Bar*** Cates and i could reach her at 888 801 5233 ext. 1006Which also comes up as a scam number.. no surprise. She transfered me to a womnen named Debbie Mcquin who also Congratulated me on winning. She said that i was being recorded and asked for my credit card number. I said i didnt feel safe giving out my credit card number so she transfered me back to Bar***. Bar*** said "i though i explained that you have to pay the taxes in the amount of $489.00 today so secure your trip". When i said that i didnt want to do that she asked why and i said "Because you are i know you are scamming me". She laught and said its not a scam. I said "Bar*** i am online and 10 different websites tell me its a scam" she laught and said have a nice day!
same thing everyone else is saying, they called me said i was one of 25 winners from a expo i was at and that i won a trip to universal studios. 100% SCAM
i got this call, they offered me that trip, told me i won at a music festival i went to last weekend and entered in a contest at. I did go to that concert and entered a contest. I was skeptical, especially when they said it'd be 498 or soemthing like that . I told him i didnt have my cards with me when he asked for my CC info, and he kept asking so i ***g up. he called back, i ignored, and i got a voicemail (by accident i think) It's 4 minutes of him giving someone else the same story. Including how I was the one winner selected out of thousands that entered at this festival.
No idea why they keep calling.
No idea why they keep calling.
I received the same phone call 2 weekends ago. The caller basically told me pretty much the same **** the rest of you guys posted; nevertheless when I received the call the caller kept on asking me if I could provided him with my credit expiration which I found to be be very odd considering I didn't even given him any CC info...I s****ed to feel very uncomfortable with these questions about my CC info, so I then told him I don't carry my credit card with me so I couldn't provide him with any info. Just to be safe I sent out a fraud alert to all the major credit bureaus; hope i'm safe.
William Kays from Universal Studios called and offered me some fabulous trip to Orlando....500 dollars in airfare credit, free rental car, etc...he claimed to be the promotions manager, but then told me he was calling via an auto dialer???I'm going to call Sheraton and find out if this is on the up and up...gave me a toll free number of 888 801 5233 ext 1004.
Have called me a few times now on my unlisted number. They leave messages of hold music for me, filling up my message box. I'm more than annoyed!!!
Got the same call last night about this trip to Universal Studios. The 5 people, Sheraton Hotel, 2- 7 Day p***** to parks, 7 Day rent a car, Bonus Vacation to Datona Bahama Resort $100 air bucks towards flights. When I refused to give C.C. info to cover the taxes on trip, they said time was running out. I asked them for a website on their company, and then after much arguing about it, they ***g up on me!!!!!!!!!! Scam, Scam, Scam!!!!!!!!!1-954-237-8087
Have received numerous calls from this number - now no longer answer. Find them very annoying. How do I make them stop?
Got the trip info and when I said I wasn't comfortable giving my cc number without having trip details in writing, they gave me a toll-free number and marketing manager name. Gentleman also said because they were only giving away 50 trips and they were going fast, so I should make a decision pretty quickly. Trip was for 7 days/6 nights in Orland for 2-5 people and included 2 bedroom suite at the new Sheraton resort, VIP Express Pass for 12 different parks in area, and a second trip for 4 days/3 nights in Daytona. (Looked online and couldn't even find a Sheraton in Daytona Beach.) Seemed way too good to be true...S****ed resear****g trip scams and see others have gotten the same calls. Guy I spoke to said his name was William Kays and # is 954-237-8087 x1008.
They call to tell you you won a trip to Universal Studios in Florida and then ask you for your credit card number to hold your rooms and license number to book you a rental car. It is a scam don't give out any of your information!!!!
I answered the phone and there was no response. I do not know anyone in Florida and have been getting these calls from all over the USA recently
They wont stop calling they have called about 10 times and I have asked them to stop and today when they called I told them there was no one here by the name Daniele and the guy said we probably got a bogus number.
