Leave a CommentIt is a felony as of Dec 2010 for company to call without the correct caller id. If you can get their info you can sue them and they have to pay attorney fees. You won't make more than a few thousand dollars but maybe it will stop them calling. Card Services was the first id then it switched to PacTel. I never answer any calls from people I do not know. If they are hiding their true id they are criminals and their is no reason to speak to them. They will go out of business if you would stop answering the calls. I turned my answering ma****es off also. People who answer and answer ma****es tell the computers to keep calling you and give your number out. Which they sell.
end of robo message on answering ma****e. so****ing about final notification concerning payments and expiring stimulus. most likely scam spam.
First a recording, a lady saying this was my final notice about my credit card accounts and that I should press 1 to find out about lowering my interest rates. I pressed 1 and got Jeremy who said he was from Card Services and that he could lower the interest rates on my cards if I owed $3500 and payed 10% interest. I asked the name of his company and was told both Card Services and Visa and Mastercard Account Services. I asked if he was with MY credit card company and he said he was with Visa and Mastercard. I asked if there was a charge for his service and he said no, this was done to encourage use of the cards. At one point a new credit card was mentioned but then he said he would negotiate to lower the interest rates on my existing cards. He asked me to agree that I had been making payments on time for the last 6 months. I asked how he knew that since my credit is locked and he said it came from my credit card company. I told him I knew he was a scammer and would be reported.
I report this to both the do not call registry and the FCC.gov who has more clout regarding these type of calls. I am on the do not call list etc. I also am completely out of debt thanks to my husband's life insurance. He died. Why I am getting these calls I do not know. But I do know that once I s****ed reporting them to the FCC.gov, and asked that they be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, most of them have stopped. Give it a try, perhaps our government will actually do so****ing about this. Maybe even give Americans jobs to deal with this.
I have been getting calls from this place for over a year just about every 2 weeks. They say they are a credit service company that can lower your rates. All that i can get for information from them is taht they call themselves Vias and Master card account holder services,.If you ask them any other information they **** up. I can dial *69 to trace the call but can not get any connection back to them. They have also called under other numbers in the past.I can not make the stop.

Received call this morning regarding reducing credit card interest. Have had numerous calls with caller ID Out of Area - Out of Area. Same pitch. Appears to be scam. I reported this to my phone company Qwest and they were aware of this and reported to Fed authorities but could do nothing to block calls.
Received call at 04:26 PM on 09-26-2011. Recorded lady's voice said this is my last notification on how to reduce the interest rate on my credit card. To see what would happen, I punched "1" and in about 12 seconds a man's voice came on and asked if I was responding to the message on reducing interest rate on my credit card. I said I was and that I was responding to the scam. I also told him I was on the no-call list and not to ever call me a***n. He weakly said, "This isn't a scam, but since you think it is, goodbye."
