This number is a scam

Individual claims name to be Sam Wilson with Advance America ID# 112. Stating I was approved for an unsecured loan of 10,000, which I have been trying to get a loan. Provided a link to a do***ent with loan information. When you call the number you get his VM. I gave him money for insurance for the loan yes****ay and what was supposed to be an hour process is still being processed when I reached him today. Only by calling him with my number blocked and finally getting an answer. Is there anything that can be done to investigate this? Below is the original text I got from him after applying for a loan online. s.g Indian man offering 10k e loan and all I needed to do was give him ALL my information. I did give him information. Went through the whole process giving false info. Then I was asked to call back and confirm All my banking information. DUH....Do people really fall for this scam? I called back several times and finally they stopped answering my calls so I filled up their voice mail. Definately a scam. I blocked the numbers with Mr.Number.
