If they dont leave a message or send you so****ing in the mail, they aren't legit. After 5-7 years the is uncollectbble by law. If you call them and they cant look you up by name, dont give them your phone number or confirm you number and DON'T give any numbers in your social. Use a blocked number. Once they confirm you are real they will call more often. They will threaten you with jail, etc. Report them on every avenue you can find, and then put them in you address book on the phone as spam and set it for a silent ring tone. works the best

I called this number back from a blocked phone number. The recording indicates the company name to be Allied Data Corp. They also list their phone number as 800-275-***6. Also did some research on them. They buy old debts/charge offs & them come after you with a vengence. Some internet information indicates they are basically a scam.
