I am studying abroad and this number keeps calling me and costing me money that i dont have! I answered once to tell them they had the wrong number but they keep calling back

This number calls several times daily. Husband purchased a car financed through Capital One Finance less than a month ago.  Car payment is NOT even due yet.  Calls come in under the premise that it is a welcome call.  They even called at 9:00 p.m. on a Sunday night.  Asks for personal information over the phone such as address, social security number, and even our telephone number.  Refuse to give them any information whatsoever.  They said to have husband contact them.  Husband called and a recording said the number was not in service.  Last answered call argued with my husband to give his personal information to her.  What kind of outfit is this that continually harr***** a person to "welcome" them to their company and asks for your home address?  This is not account verification.  This is outright harrassment.  The foreign-speaking woman is rude and persistent.  Do they make their money from repe***ive calls to the loan holders?  I perceive this as a scam and someone had better close up this call center.   This is definitely not good PR for Capital One.

Called me 2x's today. Had a auto loan with them up til June, made last full payment on May 29, on time. I knew I owed the measly 66 buck to them but figured it would automatically be drawn out of my account just like the last 60 payments had. Then they called me 2x's today and I did call the number they left back. "Leo" at capital not number one said it was 19 days past due. I told him I had no problem paying it however I****umed it would be taken from the account. So Leo says an automatic payment was cancelled May 21st, now by who is my question. I get no answer on that. So I told him I'll make the payment online. I go to make the payment and my payment account has been deleted. A***n, who did this?! I haven't done anything to that account in the 5 years I've had it. It was required to be autopayed from checking or savings so I wasn't too worried about it. However I guess they just cancel your account and try and ***** you on the last payment. I wrote them and told them I guess thats why you should stick with your local bank. Also told them I would be canceling their sh*t a** card too. I can get alot better then 23% through my local bank also and I would never get anything through capital one a***n.

There should be a lawsuit a***nst these people.I can totally understand a phone call every once in a while if you are more than a couple weeks behind on your payment..I was 1 day late and they called me 17 TIMES IN ONE DAY!! 2 of the calls were 15 min apart.I will NOT answer an incoming call on my cell phone with a long distance area code,are these people for real?? What do they think calling 20 times a day is going to do..I know what it does to me..it makes me wait even longer to make my payments.

This is Capitol One Auto Finance Calling. They are calling because you are behind on your bill. I have found this out the hard way and have recieved between 10-15 calls per DAY! Not to mention the 2-4 voicemails they leave per day. Paid the bill, and the calls went away, but if i wasn't so close to the end of my loan, I would refinance just due to the harassment of the phone calls. I know I'm late, some person from India on the other end of the line doesn't seem to understand that I don't have the money today, but it IS COMING so leave me ALONE!

These people are the worst, i am so sorry that i have a car loan thru them . THey call constantly. Most of the time they do not leave a message. At this time i am behind in my payment, however i have already told them that they will get the payment on Friday, so why are you still calling. I have received eight phone calls from this number, three of them I answered and they are looking for someone who had my cell phone number before me.  I have told them THREE times that they have the incorrect number, but they still insist on calling me back.  If it is in fact Capitol One Auto Finance, I am also receiving six other calls from them, only under two different numbers.  I think I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau, or an attorney as I think this is bordering on harrassment.  They are using my cell phone minutes...especially after I told them the very first time they called that they have the wrong number!!!

Relentless callers. They don't check their records, because I have had 6 consistant ontime payments and yet they call and **** up. Sometimes leaving a message. They use multiple numbers and they harrase me at work even when I have told them to stop calling me at work. What a horrible organization.

I got a call from this number every 30minutes, my car was payoff a year ago. I called and asked to stop calling my cell phone, they say they will remove my number, but still is been in their computer for almost 3 months.

These airheads keep calling. Sometimes it is a human leaving a message asking for some guy who I do not know. Sometimes it's an automated system telling me to call back. When I call back to complain, I get a phone tree that says, "enter your account number." I do NOT have a Capital One auto loan so I have no account number.

cap 1 calls 10 to 13 times a day they could leave a voice mail and even after you talk to one represetative they still keep calling. isnt ther a law about repeated calls ? and i dont see communication between call centers.

These people call at least twice daily asking for employees. I have told them that personal calls are prohibited and they still call every day. I have asked them to remove our number and they say yes and call the very next day.

If this number doesn't stop called me i will get a law help

if as stated above this is a cap one number then why is it that the person on the other end does not speak english in TEXAS? Hum??? Interesting! Just tried it and asked to speak to a supervisor or someone who could speak english and was told that the computer said no!

I get calls from 972-378-4101 several times a day.  When you look up this number it is for an optomitrist in Dallas.  This has got to stop. Letting mass marketers call my cell which I pay for is a crime.  We should be allowed to prosecute.  Or at least beat them with a stick.

The automated voice asked for my number - odd b/c they just called it. I ***g up as soon as it requested my SSN.

i got a call from one of their other numbers about 15min apart from eachother.  708.546.4538.  i have a ringback tone so it doesnt even ring. just shows up as a missed call.. no message.  eventually they will have an actual person call me since none of the calls come thru.  annoying

An autobot called to inform me that I could set up an auto bill pay directly through my bank account. I am a year ahead on my payments. Why would I need to do that?
