this number calls my company and ask for the CEO by name.  When I explain the CEO is in a meeting and ask who is calling I am told, "tell him it's Tommy and I'll call him back."  The caller has a southern accent and the number is coming from the Dallas area.

I just received the EXACT same call.  We're a business and the guy asked for our President by name.  When I told him he wasn't in he said "how do you know he's not in??".  When I asked his name he said "Pistol Pete".  He then said "I'll just catch him on the rebound and you and your staff have a wonderful rest of the day".  What a whack job!!

This number called where I work -- asked for the owner by name. When I requested who was calling he kept saying, "Tell him it's Pistol Pete".  I finally asked if he wanted to leave a number and he replied, "H*ll no".  Only info I could find is it is a number from Dallas, TX area.
