I'm pretty sure this number is Verizon calling for past due bill.

It is the automated call when the bill is overdue

Been calling my home phone 10 times a day for 3 months. Caller ID says "New Jersey Call". Never anyone there. Never left a message. I have Verizon phones but always get texts when the bill is due, and has always been paid well before the due date. I just went a step farther and reported the number to do not call. We'll see what happens.

My line is under my boyfriends name and I just received a phone call this morning from this 973 number. They left an automated voice mail asking for my bf, and that if it was him to press 1. Immediately it told us that we owe $400.00 which is bs, and then it prompts you for a cc number! SCAM SCAM SCAM!

The comments below that say its Verizon calling abt an overdue bill and how glad they are to be reminded before service interruption are LYING....OBVIOUSLY THE SCAMMERS THEMSELVES are trying to negate all the negative comments!!! There is NO WAY this is Verizon or any other legit business calling....they are using a switch number (ghost number which masks their real number and identity and allows them to put anything they want in the caller ID) I have never in my life had or been associated with a Verizon account and yet Im getting repeated calls at all hours from this number. No message/unknown caller. THIS IS A SCAM, BLOCK THE NUMBER AND DO NOT RESPOND.

SIX harrassing calls in the past 4 days. They are using a spoofed number and robodialing so noone is there if u answer and u cannot call back. They leave no message. I have read its a scam saying theyre calling abt a Verizon debt....sorry idiots, never had Verizon in my life but I did work for T-Mobile for 4 years and know the FCC regulations on tbis crap pretty well. Had this private cell number for 10 yrs and am on the do not call registry. Blocked and reporting so others do not call for this ridiculous crap, don't know how these people sleep at night bothering honest people and trying to steal from them. Switch numbers should be illegal!

Keeps calling my cell phone multiple times a day, but does not leave message. It is NOT Verizon. When I get calls from Verizon it says Verizon on the ID. Plus I finally answered the call from this number and the line was silent. My bill is on auto-pay so not overdue.

Verizon collection service!

It's Verizon's collection company to pay your damn bill!! If you get this call you must be at least 2 months behind on your bill! Mine was $365.11 whoa!! They will turn off your service within 7 days if you don't answer.

These guys keep calling... even though they have the wrong number. I've tried to tell them on numerous occasions. I'm not even the same sex as the party they're trying to reach! Now I just answer, press whatever number takes me to a real person and put the call on mute. If they're going to waste my time, I feel I can waste theirs.

It's not spam it's a call from Verizon pay your bill or you will have no service I'm glad i got a call cause my husband forgot to pay so I log in on the Internet and payed the bill no service interrupted

It's not spam it's Verizon wireless trying to get u to pay your bill before they disconnect your service.

Everyday this number calls and leaves no message. I dont waste my time answering when they cant take time to leave a message. SPAMMER!!!!

This person has been obsessivly calling me claiming it was verizon. Its a scam
